I turned away from my home or what used to be my home before the alcohol, the abuse the bullshit. I was about halfway down my block before the engine to the lawnmower combusted causing a large startling sound probably could've been heard through the whole city the cops and firefighters would most likely be here in a few minutes, So that means i need to be anywhere except here.I picked up my pace and walked through yards making my way to the main part of town i was walking down main street when a store front caught my eye it was an electronic store with T.Vs behind glass they had the news playing, they were showing my house burning with cops and firefighters surrounding it trying to asses the situation.
I laughed and shook my head and began walking again.I made my way past businesses and corporate buildings and eventually made it to the gang house i opened the door and was instantly greeted with about fifteen guns in my face i laughed.
"I suggest you point those elsewhere before I shove them where the sun doesn't shine" i threatened them
I got a collection of stories as they all put their guns away laughing and joking around as they got back to whatever they were doing.
"JOSH" I yelled
He came running up to me and lifted me into a hug I laughed, Josh has been my best friend since pre-school he's been there for my through everything from losing my mom to starting the gang with me he's literally the best.
"I've missed you psycho where have you been," he asked
"Oh ya know busy murdering may dad and going to school, "I said laughing josh made a shocked and kinda relived face
"Finally he's not going to hurt you anymore"He smiled at me and hugged me a little tighter before letting me go
"Yea I beat the shit outta him then broke his neck," I said
"Damn that's my girl," he said laughing, I laughed and punched him in the arm
"Yeah whatever, "I said walking away
I went up to my room josh following behind me
"So what made you snap ?" he asked I just looked at him
"Well I mean you've has been able to make it this far so why now?" he said
"He said it was my fault she died he said that I'm the reason my mothers not alive stupid prick hed say anything to clear his conscience, "I said answering his question
"damn no wonder you beat the shit outta him first that's cold," he said shaking his head
"Yea he also kinda hade it coming karmas a bitch, "I said shrugging the thought of my father away. I plopped down on my bed and turned on the news the house was somehow still burning and they had news reporters on the scene.
"Damn you didn't say you burned the fucker down," Josh said sitting down next to me watching the news
"Excuse me, sir -uh sir id like to ask you a few questions about the fire, " the reporter said walking up to a cop he stopped walking and looked at the lady waiting for her to ask
"Can you tell me what caused the fire?" she asked him
"It wasn't an accident who ever did this was trying to hide something" he responded
"Hide what sir ?"SHe asked
"Well the owned of the hose has been found his body has fallen through from an upstairs bedroom so id say they were hiding a murder, "He said
"More like sending a message," I said turning the T.V off and laughing to myself
"Damn killer you really know how to make an entrance or well exit I should say, "he said laughing
"Yea you know how it is if you want something done you do it yourself or you pay a shit ton of money and I was in a pinch for time, "I said laughing with him
"Ya know everybody missed you jess we've been wondering when you come back its been a few months since you've stayed at the house," he said
"Yeah I haven't been able to leave the house he wouldn't let me or hed beat the hell outta me," I said
"What a dick," he said
"you deserve so much better "He added
"yea well you don't have to worry I'm here permanently now I'm not going anywhere," I said smiling at him
"Good your strong but you've got everyone in this house backing you up making you even stronger remember that," he said laying down next to me
"Of course that's the whole point of TKC were a family were here because we trust one another and we love each other it's us or them we chose us, "I said
"Yea that's what this means, "He said pointing to the red circle on his ring finger we all have the same tattoo same place and everything.
"Hey, I'm kinda tired I'm gonna go to bed talk in the morning?" I said
"Yea of course," He said getting up
"Goodnight jess," he said looking back at me
"Good night josh," I said he closed the door behind him and I groaned getting up and walking to my bathroom I looked it the mirror my pale skin making my red hair look bright against my skin my silver eyes stared back at me. I splashed cold water on my face and sighed, I brushed my teeth and threw my hair into a bun I walked out of the bathroom and walked to my closet, I stripped and looked through my closet I grabbed a plain black shirt and shorts and put them on, I sighed and walked out of my closet and crawled under my blankets I turned on my T.V I put youtube on and streamed music, I rolled over and closed my eyes the comfortable darkness overtaking my thoughts.
