The following week Gauri finished packing in between getting ready for the wedding. She saw Siddarth everyday. He refused to go even a day without seeing her for at least little while.

He helped her pack her belongings and move them to his house. She was practically already living there so Hetal aunty suggested she and Sweta come stay at the house two days before the wedding. Gauri had hesitated but Sunita aunty also thought it was a good idea and convinced Gauri to move to the house two days before the wedding.

When Gauri and Sweta arrived at the Desai house they were surprised to see that Sanya had also arrived with her bags and was planning to stay until the day after the wedding.

“You didn’t think I was going to miss out on all the fun did you?” She asked them when she saw Gauri and Sweta’s surprised looks.

The four girls decided to take over one of the larger guest room on Chirag’s side of the house and that did not sit well with Siddarth. He was already upset about the fact that he can’t see Gauri day before the wedding and now he would have to go thru three guards to sneak in and see her. He knew they had planned to whisk her off to the beauty parlor to get her mehndi done two days before the wedding. He refused to wait until the day of the wedding to see her mehndi and planned to see it on that same night no matter what he has to do to see it.

Siddarth paced up and down his room while Raj watched him with amusement.

“I don’t know why you are so restless Siddarth, it’s only a day then she will be with you forever. Meanwhile we could go out and have our own party.” Raj said bouncing up from the bed.

Siddarth glared at his friend.

“No thanks, I know what kind of party you want to take me to. And by the way have you forgotten that you are still not out of trouble for the last party you threw?” Siddarth said in a stern voice.

Raj threw up his hands in defeat and sat back down on the bed.

“Okay fine, no party. What exactly are you planning to do?”

Siddarth resumed his pacing. If only the girls had chosen to stay on this side of the house, it would have been easy to sneak Gauri out, but with them being on the other side of the house there is no way he won’t get caught by someone. Then there are the girls themselves. He could manage Kruti easily but Sweta and Sanya are a whole another story.

“Okay, no planning and no sneaking her out. It’s simple I will text her and tell her to meet me in the rose garden.” He said to Raj.

Raj looked at him in disbelief. “That’s it? And how do you know she will disobey the elders and come see you?” He asked Siddarth.

Siddarth looked at his friend in amusement. “You don’t know my Gauri, she would never deny me anything. You want to bet on it?”

Raj shook his head. "No thanks, I already know she will come running if you call her."
