over the past year, harry and his parents had been setting up a foundation to enhance the acknowledgement of indie and upcoming artists. he bought a castle in devizes, wiltshire and transformed it into a museum for the artists he and his parents supported and would support in the future. today was the first day you were able to visit.
"now, i do have a surprise for you when we enter the main doors."
"for me? i thought this was about the art."
"well, my flower, you're art to me."
you had your arm linked through harry's as you walked up the gravel driveway. the sun shone and the birds sang for the occasion, you admired your boyfriend admiring the nature. you could fall for him all over again.
"close your eyes."
trusting your boyfriend wholeheartedly, you did as he said. he walked behind you with his hands over your eyes, just to be sure you couldn't see. reaching the doors of the new gallery, the two doorman greeted you as they held the heavy oak doors open.
"ready?"
"i'm ready."
harry took a deep breath, you could feel his nerves. you could tell he was mentally counting down, preparing to reveal his surprise. he slowly took his hands away from your face and told you to open your eyes. a huge portrait of you holding flowers was displayed on the wall. it was the first piece of art in the gallery, the first piece of art anyone would see. it was simply huge and so beautifully crafted. you were speechless. you turned to harry, both of you tearful.
"do you like it?"
you couldn't say anything. tears fell from your eyes as you nodded before grabbing his cheeks and kissing him. you could feel tears from the both of you falling on to your lips. you didn't know you deserved this sort of love, appreciation and adoration. but it was right in front of you, everything you wanted in your wildest dreams was your reality.
