I walked through the small house, much like the one I found in the Ruins, the only difference seemed to be that the bedrooms under renovations had switched. I got the feeling that the owners of the homes may have been a divorced couple. Past it, I found the first bit of color in the entirety of the Capital. A long hall. Big design surprise there. I walked for quite awhile. I reached a stretch of three columns in a small cluster.

"Hello, my child," said a older, female goat monster, "You have been quite busy, have you not?" A tall skeleton spoke next.

"So, I, The Great Papyrus, have a question for you," He paused for a moment, as though considering his next words, "Do you think even the worst person can change? That everyone can be a good person if they just try?" A tall fish monster, clearly from Waterfall, pushed him out of the way.

"fuhuhuhu... Alright, well, here's a better question," Her uncovered eye flashed with deep hatred, "Do you wanna have a bad time?" Seemingly a box on a wheel moved in front of her.

"Because if you take another step forward," His lit four by four grid turned red, "You're not going to like what happens next!" I took my step. A taller goat creature put his hand on the female's shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Tori," His eyes filled with sad determination, "This is why we didn't promise." In the same order, they spoke again.

"It's a beautiful day outside-"

"Birds are singing-"

"Flowers are blooming-"

"On days like these, kids like you-"

"S H O U L D B E B U R N I N G I N H E L L!!!" The male goat monster yelled. The skeleton, Papyrus, flipped a switch on the back of the robot. In a flash of light, a pink and black robot stood in place of the metal machine. He was very obviously artificial, but more monster-like than before. He shot a firework into the air, which burst into the words, 'THE GOD'S GUARD CONFRONT YOU!!!' The first monster, the goat woman, flicked the palm of both of her hands at me. Two balls of fire flew across the room-

-and collided with my sheild. I sent my orange power from my soul, into not my hand, but my foot. I pushed off from the ground with my right foot. My enhanced strength threw me across the room, getting me up close and personal with my opponent. She gasped as I deactivated both powers, and began a flurry of punches, finishing my normal attacks by pulling her face into my raised knee. As her head flew back up, I charged a punch, and blasted her across the room. The others had barely begun to formulate attacks before I was at the end of the room-

-putting my spear through her chest, stealing her soul. Tears welled in her eyes, falling straight through her face.

"I'm sorry, Asgore... Asri-" Her voice cut off as her muzzle fell off her face. I spun- and was nearly impaled on two red tridents!! The second goat monster summoned two more tridents, his eyes a deep red now, tears falling from them.

SOUL TYPE RIGHT: RED

SOUL TYPE LEFT: GREEN

Without summoning either ability, I ran for the monster, and as I was three feet from him, I summoned my sword and shield. My blade held back one trident, as my shield began to crack under the raw strength of the second. Suddenly, the fish creature kicked me in the stomach, hard! I hit one of the columns, and was surrounded by blue bones. I knew, of course, what blue attacks did after my time fighting other monsters. My arms were trapped in a crooked t-pose position. I glared at them, all holding some form of weapon. I gritted my teeth, and broke my arms free of the bones and-

SOUL TYPE LEFT RIGHT: CYAN

-lines of light blue energy wrapped around the skeleton, and crashed him into a nearby column, doing the same to the one the first monster had called Asgore. The blue bones vanished, leaving me free-

-to put my spear through Asgore's body, carving through the fat, and out his back, to be absorbed. My perseverance increased marginally.

"Damn... Sorry, Asriel... Dad couldn't save you..." As he sighed, his body became dust.

"ASGORE!!!" The fish cried, jumping at me, her eye blazing with fury.

"Undyne!! NO!!" Papyrus yelled as-

SOUL TYPE LEFT: YELLOW

-yellow bullets peppered her body, throwing her into a wall, creating a small collapse in one of the walls. She was trapped in the rubble. I turned to face the next enemy, and seven orange bones went straight through me. I jumped in surprise, causing no damage. Papyrus had tears running down his boney cheeks, his right eye blazing orange. Undyne burst from the rock pile, her eye patch gone, a spear floating up and down over her eye, hearts enblazened onto her cuffs. Spears came at me from every side, orange bones not far behind. Yellow pellets beat back each and every spear and bone that came my way-

SOUL TYPE RIGHT: Blue

-my spinning wheels of death destroying any attacks my shots failed to hit. I began to fight my way through the torent, towards Undyne, knowing that she was the true threat. I flicked my right hand in a wide arc, a three wheels flying into the next three attacks. I threw small wheels, as though they were my bullet, sending a barrage of tiny blue dots into her chest, throwing her into a pillar.

TRUE SOUL TYPE

I jumped high into the air, a beam of pink light slicing through her thick armour. Papyrus froze, his bones falling to the ground as I absorbed Undyne's DETERMINED soul.

"Knock 'em dead, Pap." Undyne muttered with a weak smile, and she vanished. Papyrus roared in raw fury as I send all ten spears of light into his defences. Every single one hit him, disgorging one soul.

"I'm sorry, Brother..." He said, a small metal canister clattering to the ground. A metal arm snatched it from the floor, and the robot ate it in one bite. In a blinding flash of light, I heard mechanical whirring. When the light faded, the robot stood, looking very different indeed. This should be much more fun than I anticipated =)
