CHAPTER NINE - A WHOLE NEW WORLD

   Modern times

           It had been a week since Jiangxue's arrived in this strange time. The week went by quite unexpectedly and annoyingly. There was always some woman or another in a white dress coming to prick and poke her with needles and force bitter medicine down her throat. The worst was that man called the doctor, always trying to touch her for no good reason, he even wanted her to strip, using the excuse of wanting to see her injured back. Worst of all her Liliana was supporting him and apologizing for her refusal.

          But the best part of the days were when Liliana would feed her with delicious food compared to those served at the hospital, comb her hair and sing her to sleep like a little girl. It was nice finally having a mother to love and fuss over her. Consort Yi really tried her best making her feel among, she never treated her like she didn't belong, but there was always that feeling that she wasn't the her mother that always resided in her heart no matter how she tried to push it away it was always still there.

          Today she was finally leaving this dreadful place called a hospital. She couldn't be more excited. She and Liliana we're currently waiting for her cousin and hardy who was supposed to bring her clothes and take them home.

           Back in the past, Jiangxue didn't have cousins, she only had siblings. Mingxiang always bullied her and Molan too with the support of Mingxiang. She had Yunxi hardly ever crossed paths so they didn't really have any relationship. Ying Nan on the other hand was very shy and avoided everyone. She was also constantly bullied by Mingxiang and Molan but not compared to the bullying she received.

           She was brought out of reverie when the door suddenly open and a tall model like woman with fake blonde hair, wearing a black crop top, with a jeans jacket and shorts, and black boots stepped in. Jiangxue immediately jumped up and use her blanket to cover her exposed creamy legs.

          The woman tried to push her off scowling and screaming "what's wrong with you, you dork! Get off me!!"

          "How could you come out like this naked, don't you have shame!" Asked Jiangxue thoroughly surprised by the lady's outrageous dressing.

          The lady finally managed to push Jiangxue off her and glared at her darkly "of course I'm wearing clothes you pea wit, don't you have eyes or have you also gone blind from you accident" she sneered darkly.

          Hardy entered the ward looking strangely at the commotion going on. Liliana quickly butted in before Jiangxue could answer her. "Ah Amy, what a pleasant surprise" Liliana said a little too sweetly to be true "Snow this is your cousin Amy, I know her dressing is....not what your use to, but she's your cousin, Amy where's Snowfall's clothes".

           "There right here" Amy said darkly, throwing a shopping bag in Jiangxue's face which she caught before it hit her.

          "Thank you" said Jiangxue mildly.

         "Yes thank you Amy, you can go now" said Liliana with saccharine sweetness.

        "Ugh, like I even want to be here. Anyway I'm going out with my girls, bye" said Amy as she stormed out.

        When she was gone, Liliana's smile turned upside down. "Such horrid girl, I wonder how such a girl could be given birth to by brother Yan" She said darkly.

         "Ah darling don't blame my brother, blame he's choice of wife" said Hardy laughingly.

          "Yes that witch, I wonder what he sees in the woman. Anyway Hardy go out, Snowfall needs to change, shoo now" said Liliana dismissively as she chased her husband out.
