"Happy fifth anniversary" I silently murmured into the cold, lonely place. The word rang into my ears for a very long time, like an old casette that I picked up on my old grandma's villa.

Looking at the words that were placed in the wall, I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the celebratory designs plastered in the room. It was a sickening sight, lips curled up in disgust I curled it up in a ball. I look at the table and take all the cold dishes that we're exquisitely made just for him and throw it into the trash can.

Those fake feelings deserve to be in the trash, just like them.

I died again, for the hundred and forty ninth time.

My memories from the earliest times I was born was vague and in my last life, all I could remember was just me laying in my own pool of blood. Cold and no one in sight, the darknessaccompanied me with its invisible form as I watch the light dims in my eyes. As the night turn deeper and the wind lulling me to sleep like my mother's lullaby, I close my eyes for the hundred and forty ninth time and died.

Then I was back.

Every time I go back into the past, it would always be in our fifth anniversary. I didn't know why but I didn't ask anymore.

I'm tired of asking questions that won't be answered.

Taking off my red plunge dress, I wore a white oversized sweater and some baggy sweat pants. I knew that he won't be coming home since he was busy with his job and he have someone along with the name of Shaoyan accompanying him.

I took my wallet with me, thinking that another night with MC Donald's would happen when a sudden sound of the door bell ringing brought me back.

"Just a second!" I shouted as I hurriedly put on my slippers. I bumped into the table corner, a curse leaving my lips as I take the other slipper I almost forgot in a flurry of madness.

It has never happened before.

No one will come to me.

No one is supposed to ring the bell.

I was always alone in this day and would always go to some fast food restaurant to eat. Spend my days into some dingy dim lighted place with rebellious teens trying to pass off as adults. Oh, how I wish I was as courageous as them, maybe I wouldn't be in this situation. I don't want to be alone in this suffocating house, looking at the traces of my foolishness and crushed hopes.

I'm now in front of the door, my hands trembling and my mind in a daze.

Ding!

I woke up from my daze and opened up the door with trembling, sweaty hands amidst the cold until I saw a familiar eyes.

It was him.

I wanted to cry right now but can I?

Why would fate do this to me?

Now that I've already resolved on living plainly without any hope to be unshackled by their chains, this happens.

Why now that I have given up and not when I'm still fighting?

Why would you appear now?
