(Sarah's Halloween dress shown above.)

"No." I lied as I looked into his deep brown eyes making him frown. "Haven't I told you already. I can tell when you're lying." Ethan stated making me look away as I closed the book in my lap.

"I though Lucas would've told you." I stated as I bowed my head making him shift against the bed. "Tell me what?" He growled making me flinch slightly as I tried to think of an explanation.

"It isn't-" I began before the door opened making us both snap our heads. "Hey, do you have-" Lucas said as he walked in until he saw me. "Oh, I didn't know you were here." He said with a weak smile making me look away. "I should just go." I said as I stood up before Ethan grabbed my hand to stop as he stood.

"What aren't you telling me?" He asked never looking away from my eyes making me look away. "What else happened that night?" Ethan asked again as he looked at Lucas.

"I thought you'd tell him." Lucas said to me making my lips part before Ethan spoke. "Tell me what?" He growled in annoyance as he took a step towards Lucas.

"Pete tried to rape her." Lucas answered making me wince as Ethan looked back at me. I instantly looked away as I felt a tear fall down my face. "What?" Ethan breathed out as he walked towards me again making me wipe the tear away quickly.

"It isn't a big deal. I'm fine." I stated trying to give a reassuring smile but failing. "Yes, it is, Amelia. You don't have to try keeping yourself together all the time." He said as he wiped away another tear that escaped my eye.

"But what happens when I don't? I won't ever be able to put myself back together again." I confessed as my voice broke as the door closed making me realize Lucas left. "Then I will help you." Ethan replied making me bow my head as his palm continued to rest against my cheek.

"I-I should go. It's getting late." I stated as I pulled away to grab my things. "Just stay over. Ian won't be home and your coming over tomorrow anyway." He said as I shoved all my books in my bag making me frown.

"Are you sure? What will your family think?" I asked making him smile in amusement. "Who cares?" Ethan asked making me roll my eyes as I tried to fight off the feelings his smile gave me.

"If I say 'no' will you keep me hostage?" I asked trying to fight my smile making him chuckle. "Yes." He replied making me roll my eyes lightly as I placed my bag back on the bed.

"Fine." I gave in making him chuckle again before he walked over to his dresser. "You can change into this." Ethan said with his back turned before he handed me a plain black tee shirt and a pair of sweatpants.

I grabbed it before looking out his window realizing it was now dark outside making me frown in confusion. "Restroom?" I asked looking away from his clock that read eight o'clock.

"Third door to your left." Ethan answered making me nod before I left the room into the restroom. I got undressed admiring their large guest bathroom before throwing on Ethan's oversized tee shirt.

I smiled as smelt his natural sent along with his cologne before I tried putting on his sweatpants. They instantly fell down my waist making me frown. I rolled them a couple times, but it was no use making me huff in annoyance.

I threw my hair in a messy bun before I left the bathroom with my clothes. I saw someone standing in the hall as I struggled to hold onto my things.

"Your sweatpants didn't fit-" I started but stopped as I looked up realizing it was Lucas. "Oh, sorry. I thought you were Ethan." I said trying to pull Ethan's shirt further down my thighs feeling uncomfortable.

"You're staying?" He asked as he raked me up and down. "He's making me." I joked lightly making him hum before he walked behind me into the restroom.

As soon as he closed the door, I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding. I quickly walked into Ethan's bedroom not wanting to run into anyone else.
