"I bow to your strength. My Diamond." Steven stood there frozen, not sure what to do. He didn't want this. He gave into his anger too much and lost control. He has now truly become his mom
Suddenly the gems came bursting through the door. Immediately they started questioning the boy. "Steven, what happened?!" Pearl slowly began to approach him but Steven jumped back
"STOP! Please...don't come any closer. It's not safe." The gems were left speechless. Why would their boy even say such a thing? Something was definitely wrong
Maybe Amethyst could get through to him. "It's okay man. You don't have be scared. We got your back." She gently extended a hand out to him to provide some comfort. Steven silently stared at it, questioning whether to take the risk or not. He started to tremble the more he stood there
Finally he took a leap of faith. He carefully held Amethyst's hand as they all lead him out to the living room. Pearl made him go upstairs to change out of the wet clothes. He took off his jacket and found a spare black shirt on the ground. He continued to shake despite trying to keep calm
He went back downstairs and quietly sat on the couch. For a few minutes, Steven blankly stared at the wall on the other side of the room. He couldn't even begin to process everything. As Pearl started up the laundry, Amethyst got up on the coffee table in front of him which caused him to snap back to reality
"Come on Steven, tell us what happened." He was about to speak when Garnet cut him off
"Let him rest Amethyst. Steven, why don't you go upstairs. We'll talk about this in the morning."
"O-okay." He stood up and cautiously walked up the stairs. He didn't even bother with changing again. He merely took off his sandals and jumped straight into bed. Steven layed on his side with his back towards the window so he didn't have to look at his reflection. He couldn't bare to see how he looks right now
Steven pulled the cover completely over him so no part of his body was showing. He oddly felt really secure in total darkness. Steven closed his eyes as tears were once again flowing down his face. A moment later, a faint pink glow could be seen emanating from underneath the blanket
