I grew up in Manila, and there I've finished my studies also. We lived there for almost 17 years.

So, it all started when I was in university that was nearby. I won't be telling the whole details to make it short.

I met this guy. He was few years older than me. If I'm not mistaken, he was 27 years old that time     and I was 17 years old. He was my Professor.

Of all the professors that I've met he was the kindest. I've never seen him angry or mad yet. He     wasn't only kind but has humor. We all are in a goof mood whenever he was lecturing.

It can't be denied that there were those who have a on crush on him. And I was among them. But unlike others, I wasn't vocal about my feelings. Instead I kept it as a secret. There was nothing     bad about it in my opinion that I was having a crush on him.

It was natural for a girl like me to have a crush. Also, it was just a crush and I wasn't crossing the line. I was also aware that he was married because our  classmates would joke with him. Almost all the students are close with him     except me.

I'm a shy type, and the silent one in the room. I just smile and laugh whenever I hear our professors joke, even him. I can't deny the fact that he was one of my favorite professors in my first year.

Until one day, from a friend I got to know that he resigned. That friend of mine is one of those girl students who have a crush on him as well so she was updated in whatever was happening.

After I graduated and passed the board exam, I     decided to come home to work there. I was sick of the life I had in Manila. So father agreed that I go home, we had a house built in the province so I had no need of living with relatives. They remained in Manila while I went home alone.

While I was waiting for an approval of my application, I decided to work in private schools in Marawi. I didn't want to just stay at home. And     alhamdu li'llaah, I was hired in the other.

Then there I met the friend whom I loved so much as a friend can love a friend. She was five years older than  me. And if in love, age is just a number then for me it also applies in     friendship.

She was so kind, reason why I liked her so much. She was more like an elder sister to me. She guides me whenever because I was the newbie in the job.

Every weekend, she takes me to (Islamic) seminars which she goes to, according to her it's so that I can be used to it. It was okay with me because I was almost heedless.

I got a bunch of friends thanks to her. She introduced me to her friends, and in the end they also becme my friends. Like her, all of them were married too.

One day, I didn't expect that she would open up to me like that.

"I want my husband to marry again, and I want you."

I was just surprised when she said that.
