I didn't remember when I had fallen asleep, but I opened my eyes to see that it was morning and that Zexal was fast asleep. He still held me in his arms, being rather gentle despite his large size. I smiled and tapped a claw against his snout, the king xenomorph stirred with a low groan.

"Good morning Zexal." I chittered.

"Good morning, my dear." He purred.

The King nudged me with his head, purring happily.

"I don't suppose you've thought about my proposal to you?"

"Where you asked me to be your Queen? Of course I've thought about it. And I think I have an answer for you."

With this, Zexal perked.

"You do?"

I nodded, "Sure, we may have had a rough first meeting. But in the time I've known you, you've proven to me that you're a kindhearted soul."

"Are you saying what I think you're saying..."

"My answer is yes."

The King Xenomorph purred exceptionally loud as he held me closer to his face, nuzzling against me lovingly. I returned the purring as his affection was very warm and caring, nuzzling my own head against his. We continued this for a few minutes until we heard a confused warbling sound behind us, Zexal turned his head to see my daughter standing not 10 feet from us. He gently set me down as composed himself, only I of course had to lean against his leg for support as my legs were still weakened without my modifications.

"What were you two doing?" Nova asks.

"Just cuddling, what do you need Nova?" I ask.

"Papa Je'Trya wants to see you, I think he says your blood tests came back and that you might wanna see them."

"Oh good! Tell him that we'll be there in a few minutes."

She nodded and ran back quadrepedally towards the settlement. Good thing I had taught her enough of the Yautja language during our free time.

Zexal had carried me back to the village and towards the medical vessel of Gu'taq. He set me down carefully as to not irritate my injuries to be greeted by Je'Trya, Gu'taq, Kritos and Karna. They approached me as I slowly limped in their direction, my one leg was weaker than the other. Despite me towering over them, Kritos and Karna came to my aid. Zexal stayed behind as he watched me be assisted into the vessel, I heard him hiss sadly from behind.

"It's okay Zexal, I'll only be a few minutes. Ten at the most." I told him through telepathy.

"I will be waiting, my Praetorian." He purred.

I smiled to myself as my uncles lead me into a larger laboratory while following Je'Trya and Gu'taq, helping me sit down on a nearby table. I sat there twiddling my thumbs as the head doctor was messing around on the monitors.

"So why did you call me here to see my blood tests? Am I not in good shape?" I ask.

"Hm? Oh no, you're perfectly healthy for a xenomorph." Gu'taq clicked without looking away from her monitor.

"Then...Why am I here if the results came back good?" I was puzzled.

"She discovered more about your DNA." Kritos growled.

I cocked my head to the side.

"What is there possibly to discover about my DNA? I am only a hybrid of 3 different species, aren't I?"

Gu'taq finished what she was doing and looked at me, an unsure expression upon her face.

"Actually, you're a hybrid of FIVE different species."

She spun her monitor to face me, where the results listed 5 different samples of DNA. The first three I already knew, but the other 2 baffled me completely. One component read Engineer, which strangely enough came off as somewhat familiar. Perhaps that's what that deceased humanoid in my vision was, the one that 'David' extracted DNA from. But the other component was unknown, as in no clear idea of what it was. I am unsure if I should be feeling betrayed, confused or shocked, because as of now I was feeling all of those emotions.

"Are you alright, Xeno?" My father clicked.

"...I am speechless on this...other than one question, what is an Engineer?" I ask.

"An Engineer is a large humanoid species with a heightened intelligence, which very well may be where you receive yours." Gu'taq replied.

"And the unknown?"

"Its a species we haven't encountered yet, so it could literally be anything. But I believe it to be something with an electric blue liquid as its blood."

"Why's that?" Karna asks.

"As we all know Yautja blood is a fluorescent green and Xenos blood is very similar to ours, but it has a more bluish color to it. I strongly believe it's that unknown component due to the fact that the tests showed the Engineer DNA mainly affected her brain, which is why she is capable of understanding us and learning new things rather quickly. And her metallic spines and tailcertainly don't belong to any of the species listed above."

The news was so overwhelming to me. I once believed that I was a hybrid of only 3 species, only now to discover I am a hybrid of 5 species. And one of them is UNKNOWN! That cursed bad blood was incompetent to reveal that information! I could feel the confusion welling up inside of me, and I didn't know how to react otherwise. I took a deep breath to calm myself before Zexal or Nova could sense my confusion and anxiousness.

"Father, when I am healed, I am going to that space station you mentioned."

"I don't think that's-" I cut him off.

"If I am to discover what that unknown component is, that may be my only chance to find out more."

"Xeno, hundreds of other alien species visit that station, some of them have even given Yautja a challenge."

Then Karna cut in.

"Uhhh Je'Trya, did you NOT see what she did to that beast back on Yautja Prime? She literally stabbed him in the back and sawed him in half, I think those other species will be terrified if they rub her the wrong way." He argued.

I tuned out their arguing as I began to conjure ideas of what the unknown could be.
