Monica's pov
2 weeks later
I woke up in an empty bed i picked the phone up and checked the time I got up and slowly walked downstairs
I scrunched my nose because I could smell weed
I saw Dave with a blunt in hand sitting in the living
This was new to me because Dave never really smoked in front of me
I noticed he had a bottle of Hennessy I his hand
"Dave stop"I said taking bottle out of his hand
"Drinking isn't going to solve anything"I said sitting down next him
"What am I supposed to do my sister is at a point of life or death"he said
"I know but you can't do much but have faith"I said sitting next to him As he placed his head on my lap
"You hungry"I said
"No"i said
"But have really eaten anything this week"I said
"I'm coo"he said
"Ight"I said playing with his plats
Dave eventually paced out on my lap
I honestly felt so bad for him because I knew Dave had a soft spot of teyanna I just kept praying that she would wake up
I got up And went to the kitchen I decided to make a seafood boil
I brought out the king crab legs shrimp potatoes and corn on the cob and boiled it
I then decided to make the sauce I let everything boil And sat back down next to Dave
"What you cooking"he said
"Seafood"I said as he nodded
He got up and picked up his lighter and went out to the balcony to smoke
I got up and checked on the food it was now ready I fixed me and Daves plate and left on the table and went out to the balcony where he was
"Bae foods ready"I said
" I'm not hungry"he said
"Dave common you haven't eaten anything
since two days ago you gone kill your self"i said As he shrugged his shoulder and blew out smoke from his mouth
"I'll be in the living if you need anything"I said walking away going into the kitchen and eating my food I saw Dave close the balcony door and go up stairs
Once I finished eating I cleaned the kitchen and turned off all the lights downstairs and went upstairs to the room and got into the bathroom and picked up my toothbrush and applied toothpaste on it
I noticed Dave was in the bathtub
"Get in the bath with me"he said
"No dave cause I know you tryna fuck"I said
"Im not"he said
"Promise?"I said
"Promise"he said as I walked towards the bath and took off my top and got in the tub with him
"Im really about to be a father"he said rubbing my baby bump
"I know I can't believe it"I said
"If we having a boy I'm naming him David junior"he said making me look at him crazy
"Dave if we're having having a son I'm not naming him David junior and plus we having a girl"I said
"Whatever as long as we have a healthy baby I'm coo"he said Kissing my cheek as I smiled
We got out the tub and dried of and got into bed
I placed my head on chest as he rubbed my back
"Love you"I said
"Love you more"he said
4am
I was woken up by Dave phone ringing I picked it up and answered it
"Hello is the family of teyanna Brewster"the lady said
"Yh who's speaking"I said
"We've got some good news teyanna has now woken up and you can feel free to come visit her anytime"the lady said
"Oh thank you"I said
"Your welcome"the lady said cutting the phone
"Dave"I said tapping him
"What"he groaned
"Teyanna has woken up"I said getting excited
"What"he said
"Yes the hospital just called and said she's woken"I said
"Can we see her now"he said
"Yes"I said getting up
Me and Dave quickly got dressed and left the house and made are way to the hospital
We finally arrived at the hospital and we made are way to Teyannas room
Daves pov
We were finally at the hospital we made are way to teyannas room I opened the door and saw her on the bed asleep
"Teyanna"I said as she groaned and winced in pain
"You ok"I said As she nodded her head
"I'm sorry for not listening to you about dad"she said as a tear rolled down her cheek holding her rib in pain
"Shh just relax we'll talk about it later" I said As the nurse walked in
"Hello teyanna will be able to leave in the next four days but unfortunately you guys will have to leave because she's still fragile and she needs some rest"the nurse said
"Ight thank you"I said getting
"We'll see you later on this afternoon"I said
"Ight bye"she said as I got up
Me and Monica got in the car and made are way home
We got out the car and went into the house and went straight into the room and fell asleep
