Annabeth followed close on his tail as Percy stormed out of the living room and into the bedroom that they shared. However, Percy didn't know if they would share the room tonight.

"Percy," Annabeth tried from behind him, but he gave no indication of hearing her. Instead, he continued his brisk pace into the bathroom, effectively locking Annabeth out. She jiggled the knob, slowly realizing what he had done. "Come on, Percy! Open the door!"

He slid down the back on the closed door, knowing it was sort of dramatic of him to just ignore her. But it was so much easier than looking at her.

How could he look her in the face after finding out that Annabeth Chase, the love of his life, had cheated?

Her betrayal shocked him to his core, leaving him absolutely paralyzed as he listening to her pleas to let her into their bathroom.

"Percy," Annabeth tried, knocking on the door and twisting the handle. "C'mon Percy, you know I didn't mean to do that. I didn't realize how much it would effect you."

His blood boiled. She didn't realize how much it would effect him. Of course, it would effect him. Percy trusted her with every being in his body, and Annabeth went and took advantage of that. Something she swore she would never do.

He didn't even know why he was so surprised by her actions. Annabeth had done something similar to him just last week and Percy tried to ignore it.

But that didn't stop the hurt.

"Percy, please." Annabeth said from the opposite side of the door. "Let me in please. We should talk about this."

"No," Percy replied simply. He didn't want to talk to her or about her cheating nature.

Annabeth scoffed. "Oh come on, Percy! You're being so immature about this!"

"I'm being immature?" Percy yelled back. "Yeah, sure. Says the one who fucking cheated! I don't know about you, Annabeth, but I think you're the immature one here. Not me."

"Gods, Percy!" Annabeth said, yelling this time as well. "I don't know what you want me to say. Yeah, I'm so sorry for cheating, but you're acting so juvenile locking yourself in the fucking bathroom like a goddamn teenager!"

"Juvenile?" Percy yelled. "You cheated!"

"It was Monopoly, Percy!" Annabeth said. "You were going to lose anyway, I just wanted to speed the game up a little!"

"Don't you think I know that? You always win at Monopoly," Percy replied. "I just wanted to spend some time with you."

Annabeth went silent at that. In her rush to finish the game, she hadn't realized that they promised it was their last game of Monopoly. She was a competitive nature by force, having won all the rounds before the last one. Wanting to have the title of the winner had cause her to lose sight of what really mattered, spending time with the one she loved.

"Look Percy," Annabeth started, "I'm really sorry for cheating, alright? I just wanted to win Monopoly and I didn't realize that in the process I would end up hurting you."

Percy stayed silence.

"You know what? Why don't we make some blue, chocolate chip cookies? From scratch," Annabeth offered.

When Percy didn't answer at first, Annabeth started to worry he'd managed to drown himself in the toilet. Then, the bathroom door cracked open to reveal Percy peeking out of it.

"Really?" He asked, almost reassembling a little kid.

"Really." Annabeth answered, then held her hand out for him to take, "come on now, lets go get those ingredients."
