No one's POV:

"Come on mayor, we won't cause any harm! We just need a place too rest" pleaded a red haired man at the port

"Absolutely not! Your a pirate for heavens sake!" He replied

"Say yes mayor!" Shouted Luffy "Luffy what are you doing here?!" Makino fretted

"Yeah! Say yes mayor!" The red-haired man whined "ugh fine! But just know I'm keeping an eye on you! A CLOSE Eye!" The mayor relented

"Ha the stupid kid just helped a pirate!" A snotty marine said

"Y-you do still realize that it's Garp's grandson you are talking about right?" Asked coby sneaking a look at the said hero

*time skip*

"Alright shanks! I'm gonna prove myself and then you are gonna have to take me with you on your next adventure!" Exclaimed puffy standings high up so that everyone can see him

"Go on then anchor! Let's see what childish act you can think of now" he laughed

All of a sudden luffy began to raise his small slightly chubby hands up to his face and in his shaky grip was a small pocket knife "ooowww" he moaned out in pain with tears escaping his dark orbs

"LUFFY! Are you INSANE?! Shanks yelled in shock and fear for the small boy

"Damn... is that why you have that scar there mugiwura?" Asked law

"Uh yeah it really didn't hurt all that much!" He boasted

Meanwhile luffy said the exact sand thing "sure it didn't anchor! Just don't do that again! ...please?"  And so luffy promised not to hurt himself on purpose

Suddenly the doors where banged open by some weird looking men "hey pretty mind if we have a few barrels of sake?" Purred what seemed like the leader of the bunch

"Oh I'm sorry but there isn't any sake left at the moment!" She replied sweetly "hey pal there is a bottle here" shanks smiled a friendly smile

*smash* the glass shards and sake went everywhere as the bottle was smashed down and soaking both shanks and the floor

'He's so dead' was the thought of everyone who didn't know shanks personally

*time skip*

"Mayor woodslap! Mayor woodslap! It's luffy! The bounty hunters have luffy!" She cried "what?!"

"Let go of me you fat gorilla!" Moaned luffy who was being stood on

"Please just let the boy go he's only young! I-I can pay you whatever you want!" Pleader the mayor

"No! He insulted me so he will pay the price like a man!" The leader sneered

"Oh so this is why no one welcomed us at the port?" Shanks said calmly "Oi stand down or I'll shoot you!" said one of the bounty hunter goons that held a gun towards them

"Will you bet your life on it?" Shanks questioned a few seconds before that goon was shot dead by lucky

"Listen up. You can insult me, poor drinks on me you can even spit on me, I'll just laugh that of. But when you threaten or harm one of my comrades you are going to pay the price!" He continued

Suddenly a smoke bomb was thrown and luffy is seen being held above the sea by the leader

"Well I have no use for you anymore so good bye brat!" He said before letting go of him

Everyone'a faces where grim as they knew what happens to devil fruit eaters in the water

As he splashed around a sea king cave up and swallowed the boat along with the murderous man but was then going for luffy

Everyone felt there breaths caught in there throat as they saw this "luffy..." Nami whispered to herself

But instead of being swallowed up luffy felt an arm wrap tightly around him and saw a flash of red

"Back off!" Shanks commanded using kings haki to scare it away

Luffy was wailing and shanks hugged him "hey, it will be okay! Don't worry!" He said soothingly b-but shanks! Y-your ARM!!" He wailed

"Damn... so that's how red hair skanks lost his arm!.." said a shocked law

"So... decided to take a chance on the new generation aye?" Asked Whitebeard to shanks
"I guess you could call if that. ...yeah..."

And cut!
