15 | good morning call

You woke up to the sound of your loud alarm and the first thing you saw was the calendar next to it, realizing that Wakatoshi's game was nearing.

"I wonder how he's doing right now," you muttered first thing in the morning.

You looked at the time and it was just 8:30, which meant that you had the entire day to make up for your unproductivity yesterday. You sat up and stretched before finally standing up. You did the same old routine of taking a bath, eating, then of course, studying. You had to do your best for your college exams; you're the heir of TK Sportswear and getting in a good college is a must.

However, you were distracted by the vibrations of your phone at the table. You grabbed it to check the notification and you felt your heart suddenly flutter as you saw that it was Wakatoshi.

"Good morning, are you busy?" he asked.

"Absolutely not!" you answered immediately.

"You should be studying, though."

"And you, sir, should be training."

The display of your phone screen changed as you were directed to a call notification. He was calling you. Of course, you answered it immediately as well.

"Good morning," he spoke through the phone in a voice raspier than usual.

"Oh my, did he just wake up?" you thought.

"G-good morning!" you loudly answered him in surprise.

"Did you sleep well?" he asked again in the same tone.

"Y-yes," you stuttered, "And you?"

"I just woke up, and yes, I did get good sleep."

"He just woke up! What a manly morning voice~" you thought.

"Really? Do you want to..." you spoke, "video call?"

"Yes. Do you want to?" he answered.

"Yes!"

"Alright, wait," he told you.

"Tendou-san, do you have earphones with you?" you heard in the background.

"Huh? Don't you have yours?" you also heard Tendou.

"I don't know where I last placed them."

"That's unusual, well, alright. Here."

Not long after, you heard his phone shaking and finally, his voice again.

"Y/N-chan, sorry about that," he said as you pressed the video button to open the camera.

"It's okay, n-now, I turned on my camera," you informed him, still stuttering and nervous.

You were truly curious as to how Wakatoshi looked in the morning and how his room was like. Suddenly, you saw him fill up the screen. He was lying on the bed with his sweater on and was staring at the screen. You could get a glimpse of the room from the back too.

"Oh, so you woke up hours ago," he guessed.

"Yup, aren't you supposed to train? Your game is nearing, you know."

"We'll train in an hour."

"Oh~ Wakatoshi-kun? Is that Takeuchi-san?" you heard Tendou from the background again but his voice was getting louder.

You saw him crouch to see the phone camera and then saw you.

"Oh hello," Tendou greeted with a smile, "This is the first time Wakatoshi-kun's videocalling."
