The beginning

 The raven haired gripped onto the albino's arm tightly, limping away slowly from the wooden mansion. Gunshots and scearms could be heard coming from the building. He needed to get him away from them.

With his clothes and body stained with drying blood, he continued to walk forward until the darkness of the woods consumed them both.

"Kill 'em all! Don't let a single soul leave this place alive!" I have to run...

The boy turned around and faced the latter who he took along.

"You okay?" The albino gave him a slight nod.

Concern for his friend began to grow in the raven haired. They haven't searched here yet.... strange..

He pulled the boy close towards him. This took the latter by surprise, causing him to let out a silent gasp.

The ravenette looked at him dead in the eyes.

"Listen to me closely. Run as fast as you can into the woods. Even you hear a sound, don't stop running."

Before the albino could even respond, the boy turned and began limping back towards the mansion. He heard his name echoing behind him, but the ravenette wouldn't even spare a single glance back. He just kept moving forward, ignoring his friend's calls.

That was a decision he would soon regret.

"Found you~"

The boy soon heard a loud bang come from behind him. Shock filled his body as he spun around. No...! I haven't even walked that far yet- how-

He stumbled back towards where his friend was, ignoring all the cuts that the surrounding flora made on his legs. However before he could call out for his friend, he tripped and fell face forward, landing on a body. A dead body. He quickly got up from the body and upon seeing who it was nearly gagged.

He's.....dead? No that...can't be...

There on the ground, was the albino's lifeless body. His red eyes no longer having their usual sparkle the raven haired boy always known. His skin was pale... Cold. When he looked up he saw a man with short brown hair and piercing green eyes, pointing a gun directly at where the latter used to stand. Pointing the gun directly towards him.

The raven haired couldn't comprehend what had just happened. It was all played out too quickly. He couldn't do anything as he just stared at the dead body. He couldn't believe he was gone. He was gone. Hot, fresh tears began to fill his eyes.

If only he hadn't leave his friend alone. He would've still be alive.

"Poor boy~" The man walked past the albino and stood in front of the raven haired. He placed the nuzzle of the gun directly on the boy's forehead, making him flinch in fear. "No worries though. You'll be joining him very soon."

The brunette gave him a soft smile before pulling the trigger.

"Goodbye."

BANG

........

....Am I dead? It's dark....

The boy slowly opened his eyes. To his surprise, he wasn't dead. He could look around, he could look at his hands that were still stained with fresh blood....Wait- Fresh?

"Haha..... The boss was right..." He snapped his head away from his hands and towards where the man was. He was on his knees this time however, a large hole resting safely where his heart should have been. Blood began to leak from the wound staining his clothes a dark and somber red. "You kids really are monsters..."

With that he flopped onto the ground.

He was dead.

He had just died.

Bile threatened to fill the boy's mouth, but he swallowed everything back.

The ravenette slowly crawled over towards his friend's body, lifting the albino's cold, cold hand from the dirt ground and pressed tightly against his chest. That was when he let loose all emotions he had kept deep inside him, it was too much. Tears fell from his eyes uncontrollably as he apologised for leaving him.

"I'm really sorry....I'm so..so sorry..." He tightened the grip on the latter's wrist. "I'm sorry for leaving you alone- Please Forgive me..." He mumbled between soft sobs.

The poor boy saw two people die that day. It was too much for him to handle.

"I.... I want you back...." He was truly alone now. No one to talk to. Everyone he knew was surely dead. The gunshots have ceased as he heard vans driving away.

"I want...." All he ever wanted was a friend, but it seemed that will forever remain a wish "I want..."

Poor child. You've gone through so much suffering

"I WANT MAFU BACK!!" He screamed, his voice filled with every emotion there is.

Suddenly, a orb of light appeared in front of the crying boy.

Scared and confused, the boy brought the lifeless body of his dear friend closer towards him, and away from the orb.

"Hello there." A voice came from the orb startling the raven haired.

"W-Who...."

"There is no need to ask such question. Afterall you already know my name." The orb of light moved closer towards them, making the boy moved back in response. "No need to be scared little one. I just want to help you."

This made the boy confused.

"H-Help me?"

"Yes. You want your friend back right?" The ravenette hesitated for a moment before nodding. "I see-"

"I....really want...him back..."

"I know that. But what will you give in order to get him back. Money? Fame? ...Or rather..."

"I...."This made the boy think hard. He really wanted his friend back. Back then he had no one. He was a no one. No one liked him. No one payed attention to him. Until he met Mafu. It was as if he was his entire world.....

"I would give up everything just to have him back!" A short moment of silence followed.

"...everything?" The orb asked.

"Everything. I just want him back! Please! I will give you anything just please bring him back!"

"Haha! This is the first time a human wished this. You're an Interesting one." The orb floated towards Mafu and hovered over his lifeless body.

"I am thou. Thou is I. Ruler of this wasteland we call earth, beckon to my call. Change this misery planet into one of happiness. Destroy the entire world if you have to. Let us rewind to when everything was at peace."

Just then, the orb went straight into the raven haired. He wasn't fast enough to react. He felt his limbs go numb as his vision darkened. I.....

"Now then.... Shall we begin the game?"
