Well. That's the last chapter. Even though I proofread this and tried to make it as clear as possible, I feel like it might be confusing so here's an explanation.

You can look at it two ways. Up until the last chapter, Jae is living life, and the last chapter shows what might have happened if he decided to kill himself in the beginning. It shows what "would have been" if he made the wrong decision.

The second, more dismal way of looking at it is that everything leading up to the end shows what "would have been," and the last chapter is what really happened. I wrote the first draft over a year ago, and honestly I don't remember which perspective I had in mind, so there's no right answer.

I really hope you enjoyed this, and most of all I hope it made you feel something. I want my writing to reach people and make them think, and honestly I think fanfiction is the best way to do that, at least for now. Thank you for reading ♡
