I just felt like doing a Vocaloid oneshot day. Hope you like it. I worked so had on it :P

December 27th 20XX

Knife. Blood. Darkness. Death.

December 28th 20XX A girl aged 17 missing for 3 days was found dead in an abandoned warehouse.

Who could the killer have been? Was it suicide? Impossible. 

There were no leads whatsoever. Who could have done it? 

The girl went by the name of Gumi Kamui. The number one singer at the time. Now replaced by the unstoppable Miku Hatsune. 

The young lady had an older brother named Gakupo who had to find the person who had cut his younger sister's life short in one night. Who would do such a thing to a lovely girl like her whom everyone loved being around?

He asked the detective to make sure they found out who had done it.

January 13th 20XX and still no leads to the culprit.

The detective Kaito was doing his job well. But not so much as a hint came up. He would walk up and down in the scene of the crime trying to figure out what could have happened. 

A rope. A bucket on the girls head. A knife that was washed and lying on the floor in front of the stairs. What had happened that night?

February 1st 20XX New evidence has come up.

A young lady by the name of Meiko had been doing her photography job on the 28th of December. She was finished but wanted to do a little bit more. She sat at her bedroom window and focused her lens. She snapped a picture. 2 pictures. When she was satisfied she uploaded the pictures she took onto her laptop and straight to the internet.

On the first day of February. Someone had noticed something about the picture. A silhouette. No. 2 Silhouettes. 2 young people wearing black hoodies. They might have been passing by. But they could also have been eyewitnesses. Or. Possibly. The killers?

February 14th 20XX An interrogation through Crypton High has been issued.

Every single student in the school was being questioned.

#1 Hatsune Miku aged 16 quoted "I knew Gumi for years. She was such a lovely girl."

Could she have done it to take the number one spot in the singing charts?

#2 Rin Kagamine and Len Kagane both aged 14 are always together no matter what. Rin quoted "Gumi was so sweet! I can't believe she died." 

Len later said "She was always so popular. Maybe one of her fans got her but I don't see why they would."

Could those two have done it as a way to get more popularity?

#3 Kiyoteru Hiyama aged 27 a teacher and good friend of the deceased has said "She was a good girl. Good grades. Good looks. And very out-spoken and friendly. She was one of my best students. It is extremely terrible that she is gone."

Could he be lying? Could he have killed the child?

April 8th 20XX still no clues as to who killed Gumi.

Everyone loved her. Nobody spoke badly of her. So what happened. The detective had another look at the photograph. He then noticed something. Could it help?

He zoomed into the picture and had a closer look. Yellow. A small speck of yellow near the killers head. Rin and Len? Lily? Ann or even Al? Oliver? Who could it have been?

July 28th 20XX we may have another clue.

The culprit had somehow managed to hack into the security cameras of the shops they were going to pass. They could have left a trail of breadcrumbs. 

Detective Kaito found out which shops cameras had been hacked.

But there was no specific trail. They were all scattered and unorganized. But that was the idea. But then he noticed something. There was a specific location where the hackings began. And where they stopped. It led to a small house in the middle of a suburban area. That house.

Kaito figured it out. He knew who the killer was.

August 13th 20XX Detective Kaito who was on the Gumi Kamui case was found dead in his home.

His wife, Luka, was questioned but she claimed to not have remembered much out of panic.

September 1st 20XX still no sign of the killer.

A new detective by the name of Mizki was now working on the case. She found Kaito's notes that he had made the night he died. He was always a good detective. She followed his leads and tried to figure something out.

November 14th 20XX almost a year now and still nothing has come up

Mizki is not the best detective. She is still a rookie after all. She searched as hard as she could to find out who could have done it.

December 8th 20XX we may have a new hint.

The murderers were really good at covering their tracks. But not good enough if they had missed one minor detail.

The bucket over Gumi's head still had a sticker on it.

They took it back to the store to find out who bought them around that time.

He said, two young kids. Teenagers. He also showed them who they were in the security footage. They didn't have hoods on.

December 27th 20XX 2 Teenagers given 19 years prison time for the murder of Kaito Shion and Gumi Kamui

They were a very crafty couple they were. So smart. They knew what the were doing.

At least it would now be peaceful without having to worry about them.

December 28th 20XX Hatsune Miku found dead at her home after 3 days of being missing.

She had in her hands she held a single playing card each. The joker in her left hand. On the back written in permanent ink read "Just a small goodbye gift. Love your favourite criminals, Rin-Chan and Len-Kun."

In her right hand was an ace of spades. On the back, it read "Catch us if you can!"

The ink was still wet.
