The start of Parenthood

Heyo! I promised this quite a while ago and now I have finally done it! A 2000 word Ryushot one-shot and the idea for it came from Weeaboo_memeaboo the Ryushot queen herself. Hope you enjoy this! Also, I will be updating a few of my other books including "Romeo and Jul... Cinderella?" Soon. But I may need some help for RaJC so leave any ideas in the comments and yeah. Let me know if you like this!

Oh and also the picture above is what Ryuji looks like when he is older.

Shinya sat outside the door waiting for it to be over. He knew it would be like this but he really didn't want to have to hear it. Hearing his wife scream out in pain was horrible. And to top it off the bossy midwives shoved him out of the room and won't let him in!

Ryuko went into labour about an hour ago. It was their first child. Well, their second if count the... nevermind.

Shinya bowed his head not wanting to hear anymore. He knew this was normal but it still hurt him. He prayed that everything would be okay.

~12 hours later~

The screaming had ceased slightly and was no replaced with the sound of a baby crying. Shinya raised his head upon hearing the sound. He turned to the door and waited. Just staring at it.

A while later a nurse suddenly popped out.

"You can *pant* come in now *pant* Mr Kamihara *pant*." And she walked back in.

'She seemed tired. And is her hand okay? I'm sure hands shouldn't turn that way."

He stepped inside and saw his wife. She looked exhausted.

He walked over to her and gently kissed her forehead. She looked up at him and smiled before slowly closing her eyes and drifting off into a peaceful slumber.

A midwife came to him with something tiny wrapped in a blue blanket.

She handed it to him and he gently took it.

His new son slowly opened his eyes and looked at him. Then he rolled his eyes and went back to sleep.

"Well that was rude" Shinya giggled. The nurse came and took him back. Shinya looked heartbroken when she took him away.

"B-but... my baby... I... Want..."

"You can have him back in a bit. We just need to do a few more things first. Then you can hold him for as long as you want!" Shinya simply smiled and turned back to Ryuko who was sleeping soundly.

He walked over and sat next to her and held her hand.

"Well done."

~The next day~

The next day Ryuko was rested more and got to hold her baby for the first time. It was kind of hard getting Shinya to give him her though.

As soon as Ryuko held the baby and looked into his eyes she burst into tears. Shinya got up and gave her a tissue.

"I *sob* sorry. He's just *sob* just so *sob* beautiful!" She said in between sobs. Shinya smiled and just watched.

Later on, was visiting time. That meant Keigo and Rumi were coming. And Ochako, Tsuyu and Neijire said tey would come later as well.

But for now, Shinya thought he'd get some breakfast for them. He got up to go to the cafeteria. Ryuko said she wanted something healthy. Not very specific but he'd just see what he could do.
