Chapter 3 So we meet again

After landing in the airport I looked out the window. "Ah good old Gotham I missed you" I say to myself. 'Well time to get my bags' I think,so I head over to the gate where they drop off the bags and saw there were no bags on the conveyor belt yet so I took out my phone to see a missed call from Kate. I call Kate back and she picks up after the second ring "Hey whats up i just landed" i say "Oh i wondered why you didn't pick up" 'that voice...i didn't realize how much i missed it I thought to myself "Um hello?" I hear Kate say "Oh sorry got distracted but are you here yet?" "Yeah I'm in the parking lot. I'll walk over to  the doors, What Airline did you ride on?" she said "Oh i rode on Copa-" i was cut off by an all to familiar voice "What happened to not speaking English?" said Superman, making sure Kate could hear "Superman why did you follow me here are you stalking me?" i heard Kate say "Val what are you talking about and who is that man?" I put the phone up to my ear and say "Um you're not going to believe me but it's Superman and i think hes stalking me" Just then the conveyor belt started and thankfully started and your bags were first. Suddenly you remember that you both took Latin in elementary school because you guys thought it was cool. "Super his igitur et Guido ill is occurrit vobis in fronte portae per Copa iustum est et beata et ad ianuam" (So Super guy is following me and i'll meet you in the front at the Copa gate just be at the door he is scaring me)i said "ego illic faxo ut ne bene sit anxietas" (okay i'll be there so don't worry)Thanking god she remembered our latin classes i grabbed my bag and Superman tried to block me "Your not going anywhere missy" he said. I started fake crying so my mascara would run and said "I don't know what i did to deserve this treatment" and then i said loudly "Please just leave me alone i don't even know what a firefox is" A random stranger came up and said "Miss are you okay?" While crying i said "No i'm not Superman has been accusing me of being a Firefox and he's followed me here and now he wont let me leave to go see my sick father" "Sir leave her alone i mean you don't even have restriction here." the kind stranger said "No i have spent the last 2 months chasing after this criminal i will NOT let her get away this time" Little did you know that Kate had taken it upon herself to pass through security (Which happened to be Crows security who let her through with no questions asked) to the luggage pick-up area. Just as Kate had saw you Superman had grabbed your arm
Kate's POV
I had just gotten to the luggage pick-up when I saw this guy 'Superman' grab Val's arm. I don't know why but for some reason seeing him grab her arm like that, then i noticed the tears in her eyes.it made me see red and before i knew it i had walked up and said "Why the fuck is your filthy fucking hand on her arm" "And who are you? I mean you dont look like anyone of authority" he said "Im Kate Kane, my father runs the crows who actually have JURISDICTION here in good old Gotham City, so you are assaulting the daughter of a very wealthy upper-class man who holds power around the world"
Valentina's POV
When i saw that Kate was there i knew that if he didn't get his hand off my arm that Kate would have him arrested by the crows. You knew that because Kate was always protective of you treating you like a little sister. Mid thought this man started gripping my arm so hard I knew that it would bruise. Then he started gripping my hand so hard I thought he would break it so i started wincing. I guess Kate saw and then i swear I saw a side of Kate I haven't seen since 5th grade (i left in 8th). Kate said in a very dark tone "If you don't let her go and go back to Metropolis, I'll make sure you will have a very personal escort back home" "Is that a threat little girl?" he said back. I remembered how I made up with Jacob and I had his number. So i said to get "Im 'non iens appellare omnia memoriae Pater vester"(I recorded everything i'm going to call your dad)she simply nodded her head at me.i secretly called her dad and put him on speaker "Hello, Val?" "OW that fucking hurts please let me go" i said "Who is that" Superman said gripping my arm tighter "Mr.Kane mittat auxilium est huic brachium ad irritum perducatis pactum meum"(send help this man is going to break my arm) You could hear an audible crack come from my arm and i screamed out in pain "Your going to break my arm!" Then Kate did something I'd never expect her to do. She punched him dead in the face.
Kate's POV
When I heard something crack in her arm he crossed the line. I already knew I had the right to defend her so I did. But i forgot that he had super strength so after i punched him in the face he stumbled but immediately grabbed my throat. Bad idea because my father stormed into the luggage area and saw him with his hand on my neck and practically breaking Val's arm
Valentina's POV
"Please i'll go with you but let her go" i said to Superman "Fine Firefox"he said as he dropped Kate then he realized all the Crow security that had filled the room. Then he shoved me on the floor and i landed directly on the arm i'm pretty sure he just fractured "FUCK" I yelled out. Crow security immediately yells "PUT YOUR HANDS UP" and then Kate grabs my good arm and tries to get me up to run when Superman tries to grab my bad arm but I pull it away just in time. Kate had managed to whisk me away from Superman and her father let us go to the parking lot. "So I didn't expect that to happen" Kate said to me. When I was about to respond I saw a woman run up and then she hugged Kate. Suddenly a wave of jealousy hit me until I heard Kate say "Sophie, what are you doing here?". I heard of Sophie from Kate. Sophie had decided to choose an academy over Kate and signed a form saying that basically she was straight and had no feelings for Kate. With tears in my eyes I cut off Sophie and said "Kate my arm hurts a lot can we please get to the hospital" I saw Sophie glare at me, but i didn't care especially when i noticed the ring on her finger. "Yea let's go, sorry Sophie but we have to go" Kate said as she started walking away while I followed. "I could give you a ride, I have a car and I know you only have a motorcycle." Said Sophie. "Oh don't worry i had my dad give her my car, come on Kate my arms killing me" I said before Kate could say anything. "Oh ok,um-"Sophie was cut off by Jacob "Hey Val you forgot your bags" "Oh sorry Jacob i guess i completely forgot considering the situation, but we are headed to the hospital to get my arm checked out i think he fractured it." I told him. He offered to look at my arm so I let him and it hurt like hell when he touched it. "Yea definitely need to get that checked out if it hurts that bad." he told me, by then Sophie got the hint to leave and me, Kate, and Jacob headed to the car my father was going to surprise me with until he got sick. Man, my dad knew my taste in cars because sitting there was a 2015 Camero in all black, a light up dashboard, and black interior. Just what I wanted and dreamed about. "Wow if my arm wasn't fucked up i'd be jumping for joy" i say as Kate and Jacob snicker. "Yea you're lucky this is a sweet ride" Kate said to me. "Thanks but let's go and get my damn arm fixed" "Do you want me to go with you guys'' Jacob asks "No Dad we'll be fine and you have work to do" Kate told him "Fine but let me put these bags in the back" He said. Kate then popped the trunk open and opened the passenger side door open for me. "Thanks Kate'' I say as I get in and Jacob put my luggage in the back. Kate gets in and we say bye to Jacob. Next thing I know we're in the good old Gotham City's streets again, and wow things have changed. "So how long are you staying?"Kate asks me. "Well i'm probably going to stay and take over my dad's company until he gets better, but i've already traveled the world so i might just stay here" "Cool" Kate said. "So wanna play truth or truth?" i ask "Sure i'll go first" she responds "So how many trainers have you had?" "hm 195 I think" i say "Damn that's over 10x more than me" she tells me. "Mhm you've only trained for like 3 years i've trained for 15 of course id have more". "Oh Whatever" she says back "The hospital is still a good half hour away with all this damn traffic" i tried moving my arm but it hurt like hell"Dammit, this hurts like a bitch" "Then stop moving it" she says sarcastically. "Ugh Whatever, but truth or truth?" i say back thinking 'if i ask her this question she might kill me' i think to myself "Truth" she says. "Somehow i knew you would choose that" I giggle "But the question is have you lost your V card yet?" I ask. "Yea" she says "truth or truth Val?" "Hmmmmm a hard decision" "Truth i guess" she takes a moment to think and then asks "have you lost yours?" I pretend to think for a moment. "Yep a while ago" "How" she asks. I smirk and say "That sounds like a different question Kate" "Truth or Truth" i ask. "Truth" she says. "How long are you staying here?" I ask. "Honestly probably for a while i just started a realtor company", "Nice" i say. And before she can ask i say "My truth please" she laughs a bit then says "What is your sexuality" then I remembered that i had never told her that i was gay. "Oh yea i never told you did I?" i asked "Nope"she responded. "I'm not straight that's for sure" I smirk while winking at her now waiting for her response, I don't know why but she had a light blush on her face. But before i could say anything she said "Oh look we're here" i feel a little disappointed our car ride was over because i knew what was happening next was gonna hurt like hell.
