She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile even when she was sad. She was beautiful deep down to her soul - E Scott Fitzgerald

Her irises took in each word one by one on the page she scribbled them on a year ago.

The words causing her to feel a warmness on the inside as thankfulness filled her.

Sometimes her present self needed the reminders that her past self had left behind. A reminder of where she'd been and where she was going.

A reminder that the journey of finding oneself was never linear... it was ever evolving, always changing but the journey was beautiful in its own way.

She tugged at the white tablecloth ensuring it covered the wooden table.

Placing the silver stand at the center of the table adding cheese puffs, beef pies, eclairs and sandwiches to it.

She decorated the plain cloth with tan flower petals and placed the mug of orange juice on the table.

In front of each chair except her own, Kait placed a nude paper bag that held a name on it.

Her nerves skyrocketed but Kait took a deep breath in.

She was doing this afraid, she was doing this regardless of the fears that tried to hold her back.

So as each woman began to file into the room, the sides of her lips rose.

Her arms wrapping around each one as they greeted one another.

She exhaled before finding her seat.

His eyes landing on hers as he entered. One side of her lips rose as he took a seat before she set her mind to the task at hand.

"I just want to thank everyone of you for coming today... I know it's a bit short notice but in some way you guys have made an impact in my life so I couldn't think of a better way to share an idea I had on my heart for some time with all of you than by inviting you here today."

As each pair of eyes landed on her, Kait felt like if she was on an actor on a stage with a monologue to perform and the spotlight highlighted her out in the midst of actors.

"A couple of you would know already but after giving my testimony, speaking at another event and even just personal circumstances in my own life... I realized that their are topics that as women we sometimes avoid... like waiting for marriage for example, either being a virgin or not being one and the process of that."

She poured her thoughts out of lips and onto each person.

"It gave me the idea along with the help of some friends to host a women's retreat called 'WAIT'... where the struggles, the good, the bad, the ugly, the process and all the things women would like to know about waiting are discussed in an honest, open and transparent environment."

The smile on Serayah's lips gave Kait the encouragement she needed to go on.

"It's a lot... I know I can't do it alone which is why when I thought of who I wanted to share this journey with, I thought of each of you. In each bag, has an area in which I want you to possibly contribute in... think on it, how you see yourself performing this duty and let me know if it's something you are willing to do... you will be compensated for your time."
