I sprint towards my boyfriend and jump into him. He lifts me into my arms and we squeeze each other so tightly. "Kylie, I've missed you so much." Marcus mumbled into my neck.

"I've missed you so much too." I reply pulling him tighter against me.

Once again his familiar scent fills my nostrils. "Awww true love, ya know Kylie I have had to put up with Marcus complaining for a whole month about him not seeing you. A whole month. Do you know what that's like? It was torture and that is not an exaggeration. Torture, I'm telling you, torture." Jesse Lingard comes into the hallway already complaining about something.

Marcus puts me back down onto the floor but snakes his arm round my waist possessively.

Lord how much I have missed this heart raising feeling when Marcus puts his arm round me!

"Shut your mouth Lingard, all you do is complain. Oh wait, have you met my best friend Jack? Jack this is one of my good friends Jesse Lingard, Jesse this is one of my good friends Jack Jacobs." I introduce my best friends to each other.

"Hi." Jack says awkwardly.

"Supp mate," Jesse replies. "Anyway, Marcus. Me and you better get back to the gaffer, we have a match in four or something hours."

"Alright." Marcus huffs and gives me a look of pity. "I'll see you very soon, baby." He pulls me into another hug and I return the embrace.

"I love you Marcus, I missed you so much." I say into his United jacket.

"I've missed you too, also you don't happen to know where a certain hoody has gone? One that was in my draws but now it seems to have gone missing."

Oops, I suppose that he was gonna find out sooner or later. Wait, he didn't say I love you back? Meh, it's probably nothing. I shake off the paranoid thought as my face heats up and I look up at Marcus with a slight sheepish look in my blue eyes. "I was gonna tell you...but I just felt stupid...I'm sorry..."

"Hey, Ky, it's fine. Keep it," Marcus then lowers his voice. "Anyway, I think it's cute that you want something that reminds you of me."

That makes me blush. Hard. "Oi would you two hurry up, if we don't go now beans, we are in trouble mate. You two are gonna see each other after the match, now Ky, I am sure that you have to get on with." Jesse butts in.

I step away from Marcus but he pulls me back in for one more kiss. "Aren't you gonna wish me luck." He smirks.

"Why would I wish you luck? You're playing against my team." I smile and wriggle out of his arms.

"Marcus..."

"Jesse you go and I'll be along in a moment." Marcus rolls his eyes.

"Okay." Jesse huffs and struts off.

"Marcus, babe, you need to go and so do I. I have a team to warn up, especially if we are gonna kick your ass today?"

"Oi. We are gonna beat ya, and you know it. Anyway I've got to go, or Jesse will snitch on me. I love you and will catch you at half time and after the match, in taking you out for dinner."

"What!"

"I'll explain at half time, I'll see you then baby." He plants another kiss on my lips before jogging off after his best friend.

He leaves me dumbfounded. "Bye Marcus." I mumble.

"Ky, let's get back to Poch." Jack suggests and we walk back.

I push past a couple of people and enter the tunnel. The match is due to start in five minutes and I want to quickly wish the boys good luck.

I pace up to Dele and wrap my arms around him and he returns the hug. "Good luck Delboy." I wish him good luck.

"Cheers little Kane." He ruffles my hair as we end the hug.

I quickly flatten my hair whilst giving the boy a death glare.

I then jog over to Hazzer and also give him a good luck squeeze. "Please win Haz, I wanna have something to annoy Marcus with for a little while." I whisper.

"Hey, where's my hug?" I turn round to Marcus with raised eyebrows.

"I ain't giving you one if that's what you think, Rashford. I don't want you to win, even if you are my boyfriend." I give him a cheeky grin.

"Oh beans that's gotta sting." Jesse slaps him in the back jokingly.

"It's fine, Rashy. You don't need luck, mate, we are gonna smash these ones and you'll show your girlfriend that she's better off supporting the red devils, aka thing winning side, instead of the chickens, aka the losing side." Andreas Pereira reassures. Looking over his shoulder at my boyfriend.

Marcus gives me his puppy eyes, which I can't resist, and a smile of defeat comes to my face. "Alright come here." I laugh. I pull Marcus into a hug and he squeezes me back. "Good luck today Rashy."

He kisses me lovingly before I pull away and make my way out of the tunnel and to my seat next to Jack in the stands.

The players strut out into the pitch and both teams looked fired and eager to start this match.

Now it's the wait for the game to begin.
