Sherlock looked at John blankly, not registering the fact that he's Moriarty. No, he can't be Moriarty. He's a genius, John's....well....John. "Evening," John said. He was blinking rather fastly, then Sherlock realized, Morse code. John was in danger.
"John," he whispered. "Nice touch this, the pool. Where little Carl died," John said flatly. Sherlock looked around the pool until his eyes laid on Melody. She was watching from afar, her face pale. Nobody was with her.
John kept talking until an Irish voice said, "I gave you my number! I thought you might call." Jim from the hospital came out, with Melody at his side. She glared at him like she was ready to murder him. "Is that an British Browning L9A01 in your pocket or are you happy to see me?"Jim said.
Sherlock pulled out his gun, "Both." Moriarty stared at him, "Jim Moriarty, hi!"
Moriarty walked closer, Melody stayed behind, "Jim? Jim from the hospital? Did I really make such a fleeting impression?" Sherlock kept the gun raised, "I think Melody rather liked it." Melody, still on the other side of the pool burst out laughing. Moriarty glared at her and then turned to Sherlock, "I'm aware, I've had some....comments."*Melody:
Melody wanted to run as fast as she could. It didn't matter where she went, just as long as she was away from here. It was her worst nightmare, James and Sherlock meeting. She knew it was bound to happen, but still, why did it have to?
"People have died," Sherlock said quietly, pointing the gun at James. "That's what people DO!" James shouted at the end of the sentence. Melody jumped. She took a step away from where she was silently. When a red dot didn't appear on her chest, she took another one. And another one.
Pretty soon, Melody was just walking away from the conversation when she heard James say, "Melody, stop where you are." Melody looked at James, "Oh, don't mind me, finish talking to Sherlock! I wouldn't miss this for the world!" Her voice was dripping with sarcasm.
James ignored her and kept talking. Pretty soon, Sherlock gave James the Bruce Partington plans and James stepped up to take it. "The Missile Plans.... Could've gotten them anywhere!" James threw the missile plans into the pool and John jumped on him.
Melody jumped into the pool to grab the Bruce Partington plans. While underwater, bullets whizzed past her and Melody swam faster. She enjoyed being underwater, so she stayed under a little longer. Finally, she grabbed the memory stick and resurfaced. James had left and Sherlock was taking John's parka off, as well as the bomb.
Sherlock turned to Melody, who was still in the pool. He looked at her and asked, "Do you have it?" She raised the memory stick up and smiled, "I don't just stay underwater long for nothing."
Melody suddenly frowned and Sherlock noticed her dismay. "What?" He asked. "He's still here," she muttered. Sherlock didn't hear but instead saw when red dots appeared on their chests. "SORRY BOYS, IM SOOOOO CHANGEABLE!" James shouted. Melody rolled her eyes and went back into the water.
*Sherlock:
Melody went back under. Sherlock pulled out the gun and pointed it at Jim. "You can't be allowed to continue, you just can't. I would try to convince you but everything I have to say already crossed your mind!" Sherlock looked at Jim who tilted his head. Then he pointed the gun the bomb that was a foot away from Jim.
John looked at the bomb worriedly, Melody came back up, Sherlock and Jim just stared at each other. Nobody made a move until Jim's phone rang.
