I felt weird writing some of the dialogue for this chapter. As someone who doesn't get compliments, let alone cares enough to try and get any, it feels weird writing about a fictional character getting complimented by some literal dirtwipes.

Along with the weird feeling of writing about a guy character whose ego is as big as China talking to a girl who gives no Fs and wants him to shut the heck already.

Anyways, this chapter is longer for you to read! Hopefully, this trend will keep up and I regain back my sanity somehow. Oh, oops. Too much information!

Onto the chapter!

K immediately dodges, retaliating with one of his own. Not surprised with his attack, N jumps back just barely dodging in. They continue sparring with one another for a couple more minutes before N's vision becomes slightly blurred.

Unbothered, she continues to spar with K hitting him, moving away to dodge his own. Eventually, her vision starts to play what looks like a scene from a movie. The scene played what looked like — at least to her — a sparring match between a boy and a girl. Confused but determined to continue, she ignores it, trying to focus her attention on the task at hand.

She couldn't help but notice that the faint outlines in her vision somehow looked familiar. after minutes of analyzing, she realized the figures were herself and K. She noticed the movements they were portraying was the future movements of each other. They appear and disappear within seconds of showing. She subtly smirked and continued paying attention to the fight, but it was too late.

K rushed towards her, noticing she was distracted by something. Successfully landing a sweep kick, he knocks her down, only for her to get up faster than he anticipated.

Taken aback by her agility, he quickly prepares for her counterattack. He blocks her jab and moves back to take a short breather. He recovers and blocks her attack, moving quickly behind her. She turns around using the outlines in her vision to see the forward.

They continue sparring, neither one getting the best of the other. With them refusing to give up, to give in. K refuses to lose to a girl. N refuses to boost K's ego. With neither backing down and N having the advantage, she quickly uses it to figure what he was planning to do. Her only problem was that she underestimated his skill and prowess. She forgot that he's the king when it came to the ring.

Amidst the sparring, C got bored and started getting ready to explore the Main Building.

"Let's go to the main building, T," C suggests, getting up from her spot on the armchair. "I want to explore. We didn't get to look around, considering. . . how we were brought here."

"Cool, I'm bored. I don't think either of them is going to back down soon. N's seems stubborn, considering she's the one who challenged him in the first place and I don't think K wants his pride to be beaten by a girl. He doesn't seem like the person who'd want to lose in the first place," He responds, glancing over at the two in the middle of the room. "He already lost once in Training. That sparring match took the entire period."

C snickers and looks, "I think his pride already was beaten enough."

K scowls, not turning his focus away from the match. "Shut the hell up already. Go already, stop trying to distract us."

N chuckles, not saying anything. She looks over to K and smirks at him, her eyes taunting him.

T soon followed as they got dressed in the normal clothes given to them and headed downstairs, leaving K and N to themselves. They look at their sparring companions and quickly leave the room.
