Let me apologize now if you've tuned in for a murder. That won't happen just yet seeing as we need a plan which meant I had to go to the one person I didn't want in involve. Kaylie.

Kaylie is the only person I can't stand to be mad at me, and I wasn't sure how she would act when I told her I had helped a hot guy cover up my own sister's murder.

But Kaylie was a master with plans so I really needed her help to pull all of this off.

That brings me to now in my bedroom with Kaylie. I've just finished telling her everything.

"Dumb straight people." Kaylie rolled her eyes. "Well I can't have my best friend sent to prison for God knows how long so yeah sure I'm in."

"Wait really?" I asked in disbelief. Did she really just agree to help me kill Esme?

Kaylie smiled, kicking her feet up onto the desk in front of her. "Like I said I can't have you going to jail now can I?" She laughed. "Does he do brothers too?"

I couldn't help but grin. "No I don't think he takes requests."

"So on a scale from Tom Holland to Armie Hammer where does this JJ land?" She inquired with a little smile.

I thought about it a minute. "Maybe Zac Efron? He's not Armie standard but better than Tom."

Kaylie grabbed her notebook. "Man Tom is my boy, but Armie oh the things i would have let him and Felicity Jones do to me in On The Basis of Sex." She groaned, throwing her head back.

I laughed. "We've watched that movie way too many times." I nudged her arm. "Now about this plan."

"Hey it's better than Call Me By Your Name." My brunette best friend flipped open her notebook. "So you seem to have a pretty strong view about how you want the murder to go down."

I looked around the room to make sure Esme wasn't lurking before turning my attention back to Kylie. "I do, but you're the one who has seen every mystery ever created."

"Not every, but a lot." Kaylie corrected. "Now first thing is first, I must meet JJ right now."

"Well let's go then."

JJ was bent under the hood of a '64 Mustang as we arrived and man oh man did I like what I was seeing.

I had forgotten to call and tell him we were coming so it would be a surprise. Hopefully a good surprise.

"J?" I leaned against the car. "Whatcha up to?"

"Well, hello, darling, I didn't expect to see you back so soon." JJ raised from under the hood, his signature smirk on his lips. "Who's this fine lady with you?"

"You're right he is Zac Efron level." Kaylie remarked, sticking out a perfectly manicured hand to him. "Kaylie Wilks your girl's best friend."

JJ chuckled then shook her hand. "Well it is a pleasure, Kaylie Wilks." He kissed her hand before letting it go.

Kaylie shook her head and gave me a weird look. "You're telling me that this boy stabbed your sister twelve times?"

"I sure did." JJ answered for me. "Good. I see El filled you in already."

"She sure did and I'm totally in." Kaylie leaned against the car. "So how soon do you want the brat's death perfectly worked out."

"As soon as possible I suppose. You got any ideas?"

Grinning, I watched the most important people in my life get along so seamlessly.

They talked about techniques and plans for about an hour before the plan had been finalized. I just watched seeing as none of that concerned me.

"I consider myself a Jude Law by the way." JJ joked. "Not a Zac Efron."

"Jude Law is super close to Armie Hammer and you're not that pretty I'm sorry." Kaylie shrugged a shoulder. "We should get home before Evie wakes up and Caleb tries to tell her about WWII." She stood and stretched her arms above her head.

"I agree." I stood as well, frowning a little at the loss of warmth from JJ's body.

"I'll see both you ladies tomorrow night then." JJ pecked my lips. "Be careful you two."

"We will." I said, smiling. "I'll see you tomorrow."
