I know exactly how you feel,

Like you will never truly heal.

I know the tears that flow from your eyes.

But only when you're alone at night.

I've known the pain of feeling alone.

Even when there's millions of people in the world.

I swear I do know.

I know that smile you wear is just for show.

You try to keep it together by trying to smile

You still struggle even though it's been a while.

You joke and laugh even though it's fake.

Just so no one will notice anything out of place.

I've seen the scars that are from the blades on your skin.

I've got the same ones drawn on my hips.

I know the evil voices speaking in your head.

Always telling you that you should be dead.

I know the unexplainable pain that you don't know how to release.

I know the pain of feeling yourself slipping away piece by piece.

You don't let yourself feel the emotions of everyday.

You just hide them all away.

You can tell me I don't know or understand.

But I've gone through the same feelings, I've been damned.

You may feel alone all the time.

But I want to help you find your light.

I'm not pretending to care,
