"CEDRIC DON'T-" Chris rushed forward, and grabbed Cedric's, arm, pulling him away from the edge, and back over the rail.

Cedric had jumped... so why was he alive? 'Huh? What? What's happening?'

"What were you doing?" Chris gasped, holding Cedric in his arms, sitting on the floor.

Cedric blinked, "I was... trying to..."

"Please! Don't ever do that again!" Chris begged, cradling Cedric, and stroking his hair.

"I..." he stopped, realizing that Chris was holding him. The warm touch made him catch his breath.

"Chris-"

"Shhh... be still." he replied, pressing a finger to Cedric's lip.

"I hate him." Harry growled at Hermione.

"No you don't." Hermione laughed, "I think you just genuinely wanted to see him, and that's why you-"

"Stop talking."

"Right."

The castle seemed to groan. The architecture was old... so much history and magic within the walls... memories-oh SO many memories- trapped in Hogwarts and around the grounds.

Laughter.

Tears.

Smiles.

Scowls...

All of these emotions seemed to drift through the air... making it thick.... bittersweet.

Years and years and YEARS of emotion, both good, and bad stuck in Hogwarts.

Love.

Heartbreak.

Hate.

Pain.

Joy.

Loss.

Annoyance.

Pitifulness.

Amusement.

Loyalty.

Shrewdness.

Bravery.

Cleverness.

"I love you." Blaise breathed, nervously.

"Oh well... I-I...I don't feel the same way..."

"W-What?!"

"I'm just being honest with you. I see you more as a friend, Zabini."

"Oh she would never say that!" Blaise scowled at Pansy.

She laughed, "You said to prepare you for any answer! And so you need to be ready. I'm just glad you wanted to practice first."

Blaise rolled his eyes, and cleared his throat, "Lanie... I... I love you."

Pansy smiled, "Blaise... I'm going with bachelor number two, Cedric."

"Pansy!" He yelled, angrily, "I want to get this right!"

"Blaise! There you are!" His girlfriend smiled, rounding the corner.

Blaise gasped, "Hey, I-"

"There you are! Blaise wanted to say something... hmm, what was it? Oh that's right!" Pansy smirked evilly.

"I wanted to see if you wanted to go to the Yule Ball with me." Blaise grinned, ignoring the eye roll from Pansy, and the look that called him a coward.
