I came here to thank you
for all you've shown me is kindness
Oh, at first I thought
you have acted so mindless.
Oh, how mistaken I was
I shouted a plea with the thought
that no one would reply.
You all came, and my demons we fought,
Together, an ally:
to my darkness a light you have shown
I took its power and wielded it as my own.
With the darkness that I've used as a shield and wall.
I follow their calls,
for all have shown me kindness.
Kindness is what I will give.
Lending a hand,
Like how you did to me.
Doing it without expecting a fee,
Right under the shade of the willow tree.
