Flower

Flowers he brought
With a promise lot
Along with twinkling eyes
He had words glistening by,
Prepared with a proposal
Promising a heaven on earth
He tried hard to woo her,
But the earthly sentences
Meant nothing to the maiden
As she remained ignorant
Busy weaving her dream world,
He tried harder
With gifts and rich rocks
But failed to buy her love,
Days and hours
He remained stoic on his pledge
At the end he had her heart
Won just by a letter
Written with heartfelt truthfulness,
True it is
That they say
Money can buy earth
But only Love can win heart.
