In this world, there is nothing that science cannot do. Everything stuck with the word 'ethics'.
In the year 2050, a huge catastrophe happened. It was a historical event in the world. Such events, in addition to natural disasters, included the movement of the volcanic eruption, severe storms, and floods in the seaside areas. There were also human dangers such as the civil war, production of nuclear weapons, and biological pathogens as well.
By the end of the 21st century, the problem was solved. The situation returned to normal. The human world seemed washed and started again. There was a restoration of living conditions happening although not equal to the previous decades. Even if everything went back to the old century again but it was still a good sign of new life.
However, the 22nd century became a time when the world was alerted to the phenomenon of population plummeting. A big city that used to be inhabited by millions now only ten thousand lived. Although advances in medicine had healed the former high mortality rate, the birth rate was almost a horizontal graph.
People were tired of matching behavior and didn't pay attention to finding a partner. The divorce rate skyrocketed in the first year of marriage. Human beings who wanted to meet family needs decided to choose a good soul mate.
Raising children became a burden.

There were many embryos in the womb. The caregiver did not have the behavior of both parents. They abandoned the babies and allowed them to die poorly during their first years of life.
Legal measures could not solve the problems that happened. The number of humans continued to decline. Thus, governments around the world decided to increase the population before 'Homo Sapiens' species declined more than they were and finally became extinct.
A group of scientists in the United States proposed a human embryo development program. They were able to pass the ethics committee requirements and proceed to build a New Hampshire-sized laboratory in the underground of New York City.
The first model to test the modified embryo ended up in errors due to inserting genes in the wrong position. They eliminated the so-called 'human embryos' in vitro hundred thousand disposable tubes simultaneously. The second generation was born after the analysis of new genetic maps. In this period a group of sponsors had come into play to provide funds.
Many research donors had called for the genes they needed to formulate into those modified human embryos. When science lost its unethical and funding power, the 'Selective breeding' project named after Charles Darwin's theory was drafted and put into effect immediately.

The modified embryo in the project was born from cloning. In short, it could grow very quickly and no parenting was required. No need to pay attention, could select only the strongest genes. You could choose the features you want, just like buying clothes, regardless of gender, appearance, or temperament.
The embryo in the test tube was being raised in a clean room within only three months with capsules and tablets. Everyone was shaped up like a normal human being who was in his/her twenty years. When the body was ready to use each person was coded for his or her world of knowledge, environment, language, culture, and even the vital functions that distinguish the clone from Android.

Ten limited edition LT clones were handed over to the 'Careers' who funded the research. But in five years of this project less than a thousand babies were born out of human clones, representing a small proportion of the entire population of the world.
'Hermaphrodite project' therefore was born
Scientists recruited the genes of people who are true hermaphrodites. The underlying genetic defect in the Klinefelter's syndrome chromosome was found to be 47XXY by editing the feature that existed as intellectually dull sterility but still maintained the characteristics of the two sexes in the Ovary and Testicle as well. The development of both characteristics was complete. They could be used to complete reproduction by both.
The resulting embryo had a male appearance. But the internal reproductive system could be used for both sexes. When it was paired with a female, it could produce normal and natural sperm.
The male mating was more complicated, although the Hermaphrodite had a similar Uterus and Ovary as the female. But, they still needed to use the embryo implantation for conception or using surgery to create the sperm pathway to the uterus. At present, the operation was easy and required very little capital.
As for the menstrual cycle, in the Hermaphrodites even though there were two reproductive organs but there was a greater amount of testosterone, and the LH hormone stimulated the Leydig Cells in Testicle to create androgen groups, mainly Testosterone that affected male and had FSH to stimulate the production of sperm. They both had very little effect on male ovulation stimulation. It also lacked the right amount of Estrogen and Progesterone. It was used to stimulate the egg to grow and thicken the endometrium.
If anyone decided to carry a child, they must be under the supervision of a doctor. They must be given enough hormones to start the fertilization process. As well as they must receive the necessary hormones to support the pregnancy.
Besides, when Hermaphrodite gave birth to a baby the chromosome was passed on to the child. This effect could be continued without the need for laboratory cloning.
After considering that nothing was wrong a total of fifty thousand Hermaphrodites were ' made. They were given code AEda, which was from Adam and Eva. The sample was then sent to all countries of the world, to serve as a research prototype for further expansion of the human race.
It took a few decades after that. The human population had returned to normal. A special genetic group coexisted with a normal genetic group at a rate of 50 to 1. There was no gender discrimination on who exactly deserved to be born.
