-Peter POV-

I woke to see Ned asleep next to our half-finished Lego set. I glanced at my alarm clock on my messy desk. After I pushed my schoolwork out of the way I saw that it read 3:02 am. I quietly sweared to myself since I promised Mr. Stark I would start to get more sleep after he found me patrolling at 2 in the morning last week. But, I know that I won't be able to go back to sleep, so I silently took out my spider suit and changed out of my wrinkly shirt.

"Ned?"

No response. Good, I thought to myself.

I opened up my bedroom widow and breathed in the crisp night air. Not many people were out, and my spidey senses could not pick up any crime. After I put my mask on, I swung around the city for awhile, letting go of all my problems. At least for now.

By the time I had gotten back to my apartment it was 6:15. Just before my alarm clock started going off. Ned woke up with his Star Wars pajamas on and his hair all over the place. I chuckled as I put on my gray sweatshirt with jeans. Quickly, I tossed him a hairbrush and went to brush my teeth.

"Peter, how early did you wake up?"

My face turned red as I looked away.

"Um j-just before you actually..."

Ned sighed. He probably already knows that I had gone out Spider-Manning.

"Peter! Even the TONY STARK told you to get more sleep! That's when you know that you are sleep deprived."

I looked over at Ned and rolled my eyes. As I looked into the mirror I realized how bad I really looked. I had bags under my eyes and my hair was a worse mess then Ned's. I sighed, knowing Ned was right.

"Boys! Get in here! Breakfast is ready!" May called.

Once Ned and I got ready we went to see May. We sat at the counter expecting burnt waffles or maybe if we were lucky, Honey Nut Cheerios. May came over and put down two plates with burnt toasts and strawberries. I gaped at May.

"I should have known since I have Ned over you would have put effort into breakfast! You still burnt the toasts but there are strawberries. The good kind too!"

May chuckled then turned around to grab her suitcase. She had a new job at a window company (please, it's around 11:00 pm and I can't think properly...just go with widows) that required her to spend her first 3 weeks in Atlanta, GA. I laughed under my breath as May tried to grab her purse, but she accidentally pushed it off the counter. I rushed to grab it before it hit the ground. Nothing fell out of it so I handed it to May.

"Thanks Peter. I'll miss you so much! Have fun with the Avengers, and don't get killed. I've given up trying to say don't get hurt because you're always getting shot or cut," May said with a glare.

"You say that as if I want to get hurt! Blame it on the criminals!"

May looked at me with the Mom Stare™. I gave in.
