Your loving voice that sounds
so sweet and smooth,
Becomes my escape in bitter youth.
You promised truth above all the odds,
Only turned my heart into a wad.
How that adoring voice captures my ears,
But the endless pain it only bears.
You told me to seek my own happiness
That thou hast been to me all tenderness.
I love you for all my genuine heart,
But you just aimed it with venomous dart.
Can I hear your mind just one last time?
Swear I'd never put all the cheesy rhyme.
