The Dark Knight (Bruce Wayne X reader)

Chapter Sixteen

Abandoned building
Around 8pm

From the way Y/n was facing. She could clearly see two boats. One was filled with innocent people, and the other was filled with criminals. "You have until midnight, to choose witch one of you will die." The jokers voice echoed in her mind.

Both ships were rigged to explode, and the captains of each ship had the detonaters. Batman was currently handling Joker. While Y/n was standing there. Looking at the boats. Poison Ivy standing behind her.

"You know Viper It's not to late. You can come with me.. we can see my plants, my children. And you can become their aunt" Ivy said. Y/n shook her head "no. I won't. My priority is to help people. Weather they are good or bad. Not to kill them like.you villains do" Y/n says. Venom laced in her voice.

"Fine then. Your funeral" Ivy said as she got ready to fight Y/n by kicking her off the building. However. Y/n is already at it, and she dodges out of the way.

Y/n dodges a punch from ivy, and she delivers her own. Kicking Ivy's waist and punching her nose, making it bleed. Ivy stumbles back, before she hissed and charges after Y/n, tackling her to the ground.

Y/n let's out a moan of pain, getting punched in the face by ivy. Y/n grumbled as she licks Ivy's ribs, making the red head fall off of Y/n onto the floor.

This time, Y/n straddles ivy, pulling her head by her hair and hitting it against the ground. Ivy let's out a painful howl, Y/n gets up off of ivy and she backs away for a moment. Y/n takes out her staff, and she holds it in front of her defensively.

But out from behind her, Multiple goons come out from the shadows. Fists Ready. "Get her boys!" Ivy shouts, holding her bleeding head in pain. Y/n turns around and immediately gets bombarded by attackers.

Y/n sacks a man in the head with her leg as she knocks two to the ground. Y/n runs up to another goon. Jumping up on his shoulders and pressing her back to the goons. Wrapping her arms securely around the goons neck. Choking him while he stumbles around.

Y/n uses this to her advantage, kicking other goons to the ground as the other man stumbled. Soon falling and passing out. Y/n Huff's and she moves into another goon. She punched his face. But he doesn't seem affected. Y/n shakes her hand as it hurt from the punch. "Well shit" she said as she gets picked up and thrown into a wall.

Vines start coming towards Y/n, but she gets up off the wall before they grab her. Y/n keeps charging at the biggest goon. Kicking his ribs, legs and arms. Pushing him down to the ground, Punching him. Just everything.

But nothing was working. So Y/n decided to grab a chain that was hanging from the roof, and she yanks it in her hands. A crack is heard and the roof starts to fall. Y/n let's out a yelp as the goon gets crushed under the rubble, but so does Y/n's hand.

It wasn't broken. Just sprained and immobile. Ivy laughs softly, strutting towards Y/n. Ivy grabbed Y/n's arm, and she yanks Y/n's hand from the rubble.

Ivy than forces Y/n to stand up. And ivy swings her into a concrete pillar. Y/n groans, falling down. She tries to get up, but that was soon assisted by vines, wrapping around her arm tightly. Forcing her to stand up.

Y/n screamed as she thrashed her legs around, trying to get her arms out of the vines while ivy stalked towards her. This cought Bruce's attention. He heard that scream. And immediately got distracted.

Bruce grunted as he knocked down another goon, trying to get to the joker to take the detonator away from the joker. Fighting many as he did so.

Back with Y/n, Sha had managed to cut down several vines. And she paralyzed Ivy's left arm. "You won't win Ivy!! Villains never do!" Y/n shouted as she got her right arm out of the vines.

Y/n grabbed her dart gun. And she shot ivy in the leg, and in the neck. Knocking her out for awhile. Y/n grabs ivy. And she tiredly hauls the other woman over her shoulders. Y/n started to run downstairs, stumbling a few times before she got out of the building.

Y/n hands ivy over to the police. Knowing that one day ivy would escape and come for Y/n again.

Before the police could talk to Y/n, she went back into the building, coming across more and more of jokers goons. Y/n soon reached the room that Bruce and joker were fighting in. Y/n took out her dart gun and she started silently shooting goons left and right.

When Y/n was down to two darts, she saved them for later. Y/n took out her staff, and she started knocking goons out. Joker was shocked when he saw one of his goons fly out from the shadow. "Uh oh" joker said and he looked at Bruce, who had his fist raised.

Bruce punched the jokers face. Knocking the clown out cold. Y/n fought off the last two goons. And she walked out of the shadows. "Hello again Mr. Bat" Y/n said as she walked up to him. Bruce smiled and he gently took Y/n into his arms. Kissing her gently.

Y/n hummed and she pulled away. "We need to save those ships" Y/n said as she looked out to the ships. But they were powered back on and heading away from Gotham safely. Y/n hummed again, looking back over at Bruce. "We should head home then yea?" She asked. Bruce nodded, and he quickly tied joker up.

Bruce took Y/n in his arms and he grappled up to the roof of another building. Lowering themselves down and into the Batmobile. Y/n sat down in the passenger's seat. Sighing lightly as she looked out the window.

Bruce drove quickly, back towards the Batcave and the Manor.
