The prison down in a big cavern
Unknown time. After bane had put Bruce down in the prison he was once in, bane had left to go back to Gotham, knowing well that Viper was there and probably waiting for him. But he had people on the inside. Someone who could easily fool another person.
Pamela watched from the sidelines, she could easily escape the prison, knowing that bane didn't out her there in the first place and she could get out using her vines and her weaponry. She tried getting Bruce out. But the prisoners wouldn't let her, telling her that if he wanted to get out, he had to do it himself by climbing the wall and getting out of there himself.
Pamela finally agreed, and she stayed back, watching Bruce and helping the medics heal him. Until he woke up. "Wha- where am I, who are you people?" He questioned, then he locked eyes with Pamela, who was standing outside the jail cell with her arms crossed. She was still in her hero outfit. "Pamela? What are you doing here." He asked, trying to get up. Only to shout in pin and lay back down.
"I'm here to watch you. The fellow prisoners here won't let me get you out, saying you have to do it on your own by climbing that big wall over there. So if you want to get out and help Y/n, then you better get your back fixed" Pamela spoke with an oh so serious tone.
Bruce huffed, laying still on the hard bed he was on. "Why can't you heal it?" He asked. "It's broken Bruce. My powers don't go that far yet. I can only heal flesh wounds" Pamela spoke with dead set eyes.
Bruce groaned, closing his eyes. Then the prisoner beside him spoke. "What's he saying?" Bruce Asked, eyeing the medic and Pamela. "He's telling you about the child that escaped this prison" the medic spoke. "What? A child escaped this hell hole?" He asked with full uncertainty. The medic nodded however.
"Yes, it was years and years ago, the child was born and spent her childhood in the pit. Her mother, the Warlord's daughter, was imprisoned there by the Warlord to take the place of the child's exiled mercenary father. One day, when she was a young child, the prison doctor forgot to lock their cell and her mother was attacked and killed by a group of prisoners. The child retaliated and stabbed one prisoner in the back with a knife, but then she was protected from reprisals by another prisoner known simply as Bane." The medic explained
Bruce looked up at the roof, then he locked eyes with the man in the other cell. "What happened after?" He asked softly. The man started speaking again, translated by the medic. "As an older child, she was protected by her friend Bane and climbed out of the Pit, the adrenaline caused by her fear gave her the strength to make the jump required to escape. She then found her father, who had joined the League of Shadows and became known as Ra's al Ghul, and brought him to the Pit with the League of Shadows to enact vengeance for the death of his wife. There, he found Bane after the prisoners and doctor had irreparably damaged him after he helped the child escape. Both the child and her protector were then trained in the ways of the League." The medic translated, smiling warmly at the old man in the other cell.
Bruce hummed. "This child.. was the heir of Ra's Al Ghul?" He asked, just to double check. The Medic nodded. "Yes. Her name is Talia, and she is still very much alive" the medic explained.
"Ra's began to see Bane as a reminder of the hell he left Talia's mother to die in. Bane was then excommunicated from the League of Shadows, due to as Talia put it, because he loved her." The older man said in broken English, making Pamela turn to him with a curious glance.
"So in order to escape this prison, I have to climb the wall, and jump to the ledge?" He asked the Medic, which he nodded too. "Yes. But we have to fix your back first, you cannot climb with a broken spine" the medic ordered.
"How do I fix my back?"
A couple days had passed, Bruce was being held up by a rope that was around his chest, secure under his arms. Bruce had a face of pain, because he was truely in pain, Pamela couldn't help much, he needed to stand on his own.
Bruce slowly yet surely made it to his feet, and his back let out a very painful crack, letting the medic and Bruce know that his back had piped back into place, and he was fixed. Pamela unlocked the cage, and she walked towards Bruce, helping him out of the rope while her hand rested on his back, healing the bruises and cuts, making him feel better then before. "You need to regain your strength. I have to go back to Gotham again, Y/n needs my help" Pamela spoke with a small sigh.
Bruce nodded. "Good luck, I'll be out of here soon" he mumbled as he held on tightly to the table beside him. Pamela nodded, and she left the prison cell, walking towards the pits entrence, and grappling herself out of it. Taking her bike back to Gotham.
Bruce sighed, moving and sitting down on his bed, the medic walked in, looking at him with a small smile. He had a razor and a water dish in his hands. "Time to shave your face" he spoke with a smirk.
Bruce let out a sigh, yet he nodded, and shaved his face, clean from the hairs that stuck out on all ends, making him uncomfortable.
More days had passed, and Bruce had been training non stop, pushups, crunches, situps. Other things to regain his strength. The man in the cell beside him spoke a couple of times, saying that strength won't get him out of the pit, but Bruce didn't listen, and he kept training. Then one day.
He went to the trial, and he tried to get out. Climbing to the first ledge successfully, but failing to jump to the second ledge, falling down back into the pit, painfully hanging from the rope as the medic helped him out.
He tried again and again every second day. Until Pamela was about to come down, when she saw Bruce climbing, without a rope. He caught Pamela's eyes, and he gave her a reasuring smile, backing up slightly, and jumping towards the second ledge. If he fell, he would die.
But he didn't fall. He cought the second ledge, and he pulled himself up, making his way to the top of the pit as he heard inmates scream and cheer for him.
Pamela walked towards him once he stood at the top, throwing the long rope down to the other prisoners. "Come on Bruce. Let's get back to the Batcave so you can get re-suited" ivy spoke with a large smile as she hopped on her bike. Bruce got on the back, and Pamela immediately speeded off towards Gotham, taking routs down alleyways in order to get to Wayne Manor. "Why don't we take the city way?" Bruce shouted. "Because the city is overrun by Banes men! They stole all of your precious cargo from the basement in Wayne Enterprises!" Pamela shouted back, picking up speed as she rounded another corner, making her way to the entrance of the Batcave.
When Pamela jumped through it, she immediately landed on a platform. Bruce got off first, and he ran towards his backup suit, which was in perfect condition, and he started to suit up again. "Where is Alfred?" Pamela asked, fiddling with her bike as she waited. "He left... He didn't believe that I could take bane down myself... I guess he was right" Bruce said as he put his cowl on, walking towards his batbike. "Also, you and Y/n need to have a big talk once this is all over" Pamela stated, her arms crossed.
"I know.
