the ever present sound that is a motion fan, news on tv that my father loves too watch, my mother humming and breaking into little french songs while working and snacking on warm baguette's that were homemade,

my grandmother's morning and evening prayer, my sister's loud voice when she plays and even the solitude at night when most of them are asleep and my music still goes on

salty air peppering air kisses on my sunburnt cheeks, the cacophony of gulls shrieking like shooting stars, the melody of old pink floyd albums playing from an antique vinyl on my window sill, the whispering waves
