[34] Style Queen: Battle pt. 1

"Mommy! You're back from South Korea!" Jimin was hugging his mom that he hadn't seen in a long time. He hopes his mom remembers her own son. Well, his mom is the fashion expert for the next headline clothing. This time it was glitter. "Oh yes uh...Jimin dear."

Jimin was relieved that his mom remembers him. Then Mrs. Park asked the blonde boy, "Where's Mr. Kim? I would like to speak with him on the winner." The boy's face turned from an eye smile to an expression of a pout but in a calm manner. "He's over there with his son, mommy."

"Thank you dear." His mom walked up to what would be Mr. Kim, but the assistant, Jin was holding a screen device that showed he was "actually" there. "Hello Mr. Kim, I see your stepson is ready for the runway for this winner's derby hat?" Namjoon showed a confident smile that she'll love the winner's choice. "You'll like this winner's choice of theme."

"I hope so Mr. Kim or I won't accept it because this year is glitter."

Talking about the winner, Taehyung heard the conversation about this season's fashion choice. He held the box with his feathered derby hat he won at the contest and thought this is not a great time to present it. The boy tried to walk away from the Parks but gained attention by tripping over by misplacing his step when he started to walk. The box rolled to Mrs. Park, with the lid loosely coming off, displaying the derby hat with the pigeon feather on it.

"Oh no", Taehyung quickly stood back up and ran up to the two families with his. Jungkook was glad to see him, but not so much with Jimin. "Tae you made it to see the show."

Taehyung was also happy to see his boyfriend, while he was catching his breath, "Y-Yeah and-" Jungkook automatically wrapped his arms around the boy's waist while resting his head on the other's shoulder. "Koo not in front of Jimin or our families," Taehyung whispered inside the black-haired boy's ear and did as told.

They didn't tell their families that they're together, only their friends. The two wanted to surprise them on the news that they're a thing. "Sorry Tae."

"It's fine, you can hold me close later."

"Okay." The two boys were whispering to each other until Jimin's mom asked who made this feather hat. "Um I made it Mrs. Park but I heard you said that glitter was the top fashion." Mrs. Park didn't bother to hear the boy's statement but rethought the whole glitter idea. "Well uh...what's your name?"

"I'm Kim Taehyung, I made that hat from scratch." The women analyzed the derby hat that was carefully stitched, bordered, detailed, and the signature was a good touch as well. A smile was formed on her lips. Jimin couldn't believe his eyes that he's seeing his mom smile since he was little. "Listen here Taehyung, glitter was old news, it's feathers this time around."

This was exciting news to him, Jungkook, and his family. "Thank you Mrs. Park. I'm so glad to hear that."

"Yes yes, but we have a show to run. Mr. Kim's stepson, get ready."

With that, everyone was heading to their seats while Jungkook was heading to the dressing room to change. At the seating area, well, there was some confusion that Jimin's mom didn't know that Taehyung had a reserved stop for the front row. She couldn't believe it and the Park family had to sit with the Kim family, with Taehyung's friends along. "This is ridiculous mommy. We should be in the front row."

"I know. This is just impossible, I'm supposed to be where that Taehyung boy is at." So his mom headed to the backstage while Jimin was following her.

Even though, the show was finally starting and seeing Jungkook coming down the runway like a professional, with Taehyung's pigeon themed derby hat was the best thing that happened to the boy. Until a surprise of a glittery villain came along that Taehyung shouted at the two, "Watch out you two!" From the look at the villain that it was Mrs. Park.
