Investigating

I realized something as I sat on a chair. The patient's name was Barry Allen. Not Sebastian Smythe. But I would never forget his meerkat face. I told Blaine this.

"Look him up," Blaine suggested.

When I looked up 'Sebastian Smythe', all I got were things about the whole Smythe family and Seb's high school career. Odd, there wasn't anything about him before or after high school.

"Blaine," I said, confused, "there's nothing on him before or after high school."

Blaine thought for a moment, "Try looking up 'Barry Allen'."

"Okay," I mumbled. I looked up 'Barry Allen', and several things came up. ""Wow." I saw recent pictures of Barry, and I could tell it was the same person as Sebastian. "Blaine, why did Sebastian change his name?"

Blaine looked over my shoulder at the computer. "What's that?" he pointed to a link. 

I clicked it and started reading aloud. It was an article. "Doctor Murders Wife. The doctor Henry Allen murdered his wife, Nora Allen, in front of their 11 year old son, Barry Allen. Young Barry Allen was so traumatized that he was convinced that a man in a yellow suit surrounded by lightning was the one who murdered his mother. Henry Allen is now serving a life sentence at Iron Heights prison."

"Oh my god," Blaine said. Again. "That's horrible. And cruel. Why would they advertise a kid's trauma?"

"I don't know, Blaine. I don't know."
