Comatose - flash x glee

Waking

We came back to Central City a little more than nine months later. We sat at CC Jitters drinking coffee discussing recent events. 

"I wonder how Sebastian is doing," Blaine said, "Like, is he awake yet?" 

"Don't know," I said, "we should ask Iris."

We got up to go to Iris' house, but the door dinged, drawing our attention. 

I hardly registered Blaine's gasp above my own. There, walking in the door was none other than Sebastian Smythe. Or Barry Allen. Or whatever he's called now days.

"Sebastian!" Blaine yelled.

Sebastian's head whipped up, "Blaine? Kurt?"

"Seb! Hey, you're awake!" I said, genuinely happy. "When did you wake up?"

He was standing next to us now, and he gestured for us to sit. We sat. "I only woke up a week ago," he said sheepishly.

"A week ago!" Blaine cried, "should you even be on your feet?"

"I'm great. Honestly," Sebastian said. "Wait. How did you guys find out I was in a coma?"

"We were visiting Central City, the hospital had a power outage, and we saw your meerkat face lying comatose in a hospital bed," I explained.

"Well lady Hummel," he said, smirking, "didn't know you cared about me."

I pressed my lips in a firm line. Then Blaine spoke up. "Why didn't you tell anyone you were bullied?"

Seb's smile froze then fell. "How did you know that?"

"We did a bit of investigating after we saw you, and talked with Iris. I'm sorry about your mom by the way," Blaine said.

Sebastian looked down.

"So Sebastian..." I started.

"Please," Seb interrupted, "call me Barry. That's my actual name, and no one here knows about me being Sebastian."

"Alright," I said, "So, Barry..."

Then I was interrupted again by someone shouting, "Barry!" A Latin boy and a woman walked into Jitters, waving at Barry.

"Hey guys," Barry said, smiling. "Guys this is Cisco and Caitlin. Cisco, Caitlin, this is Kurt and Blaine," he introduced.

I marveled over how much Seb- Barry had changed. He was actually really nice. We talked for a while, and I found out Barry was super nerdy too. Nothing like the jerk I knew in high school. He's also strait, apparently. Cisco and Caitlin left and Barry said he had to go to work. 

I turned to Blaine, "I can not believe how different Barry is from Sebastian."

"I know," Blaine said, "He's really nice, smart, funny, civil, and strait."

"It's like an alternate universe," I joked. Blaine laughed.
