Chapter 22 •interrogations•

1st POV

The next day around 7am

Overhaul or what I learned was Chisaki Kai, the supposed leader of this dump- walked into the room I was being held with ,"come with me" I complied for now.

I stood and followed him out of the room down a hall that looked like it went on for ever.

He guided me to what looked like a normal living room. My eyes lit up seeing toga and twice. They seemed to have seen me too. Toga smiles brightly and like highschool girl do she hugged me like we reunited after years.

Twice followed her hugging the two of us, I couldn't see his smile but I could tell he was happy to see me. "I'm glad you're okay y/n,,I'll hurt him for taking you".

After our little reunion, overhaul sighs sitting on the couch. Toga then spoke up
,"I had no choice in coming here, I'm toga" she spoke with a blank expression clearly disliking the man she spoke to.

Then twice spoke after her ,"long time no see, birdman" I had to hold back a giggle at the nickname he gave overhaul ,"I will never forgive you" he said as he made a cutting motion over his throat with his thumb. He then started moving his arm toga having to lean so she wasn't elbowed ,"I look forward to working with you"

I sigh softly remembering what happened , the others spoke but I didn't care much to pay attention till overhaul spoke ,"sorry about mange, I didn't want to kill him,either" I glare at his miss use of her pronoun.

Twice practically read my mind and spoke ,"you mean her." "Please don't make that mistake again" Toga followed. I probably wouldn't have been that polite.

Overhaul didn't seem to care as he didn't even acknowledge it ,"well,I understand why you'd hold a grudge, but now that we're working together,I want you to assist us in carrying out the plan"

Twice grumbles ,"bastard, you acted like you were just keeping up appearances when we first met ,too!" He then changed from his violent tone ,"so what should I do?"

"Just follow my instructions like everyone else in the hassaikai. In order for me to give you instructions,first tell me the details of your quirks, If anything happens, Id like to make it easier for you to work with us"

I didn't exactly want to but I didn't have a choice in the matter I went first ,"my quirk is called paralysis, if I am in 10-15 feet of some I can temporarily stop them from moving and feeling physically. Though depending on my energy is how long it can last"

He nod then looks to toga she smiles holding resentment ,"I'll tell you when it becomes necessary if anything happens, because I don't like you people yet."

A small man then spoke seeming angry ,"you should just tell us, Don't underestimate us yakuza!" He was annoying me already.

Twice spoke up ,"Aw,man,this is no good it's no good! It's unacceptable! Nasty. I'm not telling!"

Another man spoke seeming to force him to explain his quirk the same happened to toga. If this man wanted answers...he was going to get them..

Then the strange man spoke again ,"did you hear anything from shigaraki or anyone about a betrayal?" He asked the three of us. In which we all an no.

"Okay then..we'll accept you as members of the Hassaikai now."he stood walking towards the door "But we can't let wanted criminals like you roam about freely. If you don't have any instructions,please do not leave these underground facilities."

Twice seemed to get irritated from this ,"what, are we on house arrest?" Toga also responded ,"Aw,I wanna be free!"

Overhaul didn't even give them a glance ,"Once I can trust you a little more,I can let you do what you want It's up to you guys, y/n follow me please"

I nod and wave goodbye before following the brunette. ,"you shall come in as a guard to me an Eri..you will follow my instructions if needed, you will fight anyone who tries to interfere with my plans" he led me to a room that was next to the one I was kept in.

The girl..she's in here..
"You will also take care of her,I don't care what you do with her just make sure no one takes her or she doesn't escape" he opens the door, it seemed like a normal little girls bed room.

I walk in seeing a small ,petite, scared looking girl sitting on her bed as she looked at overhaul ,"Eri..this girl will watching over you while I'm not" he spoke then shut the door leaving me inside with her in silence.

I opened my mouth to speak but she beat me to it ,"are you the one who spoke to me last night?.." she spoke with a quiet voice. I nod in response. She seemed sad ,"you can't save me!..please, he'll just hurt you.." she looked down to her lap. I saw the bandages that covered her arms and legs..a little girl shouldn't go through this.

"Don't worry..he won't hurt me, besides..you probably have a better chance at a brighter future than me.." I gave a warm smile.

Don't worry kid, as much as I hate to say. The heroes will come soon..
