"I'm bored." Maya sighed, eyes raking over the boy that lay on his back by her side, staring at the phone held up above his head.
However Donghyuck didn't reply, arrogantly ignoring her statement.
Languidly, she moved over to his body, putting her legs on each side- practically straddling him.
But the boy still wasn't paying no mind to her, feeling his shirt being lifted up and that alarmed his gut- looking up at her from the screen.
Maya ran her fingers down his abs, shamelessly staring at them and Donghyuck smirked while holding her thighs.
"Damn those small packages." She smirked, outlining each pack with her forefingers while he stared up at her amusingly.
"You're hot from that angle." Maya said while inspecting his jawline, mindlessly running her finger across it and getting more comfortable on his lap.
"Stop moving." Donghyuck said, grabbing her hips to stop her but the girl wriggled and grinded on him more- her attempts of teasing made him slide his tongue at the edge of his inner lip, digging his teeth into the outline as smiling right after.
Well that was, hot.
Donghyuck chuckled, sitting up and throwing her down on the mattress while slapping her ass.
"I told you to stop." He said, trying to be serious but a laugh escaped her lips and Donghyuck slightly smiled, staring down at her.
Leaning in, he pecked her lips for a split second before poking her sides and making her squirm under him.
"Hyuck! Stop-" She let out a laugh, screwing her eyes shut as she tried to escape from his grip, failing miserably.
Donghyuck was smiling at her, a look of adoration filling his features and he stopped running his fingers on her skin after a few seconds and sealing their lips together. The moment was short-lived as her phone began ringing, making both stop in alarm as their eyes trailed to the device on the bedside table.
Maya sighed, reaching for it- brows furrowing as to the caller was Mark, her brother.
"Yeah?"Donghyuck watched as she sat up after hearing the person on the other end speak.
"What?" Maya breathed out, fearful as her eyes started watering- hand cupping her mouth in shock.
"W-where are you?" She stood up, immediately leaving to put on her shoes, phone still pressed to her ear."I'll be right t-there."
She hiccuped and Donghyuck followed her, worried at her reaction- her cheeks stained with hot tears as she hung up."What happened?" Donghyuck asked, wary that she was going to collapse and steadying her.
"My- my dad." Maya sniffed, "I need to get to the hospital."
Donghyuck immediately grabbed his car keys, knowing she wouldn't want to waste any more time.
Slipping on his shoes, both of them got to his jeep parked in the driveway- Maya almost hyperventilating as her lips trembled involuntarily."He'll be okay, princess." Donghyuck said softly, rubbing her thigh and she wiped her salty tears.
"I hope so." Maya whispered, voice cracking at how worried she was with fear ridden at the back of her mind.
Her dad meant to her more than anything.
Was he going to make it?
Hopefully.
As soon as Donghyuck parked the car, her feet dragged her frantically to the upper floor of the building, Donghyuck following right behind.
Then she saw Mark, bloodshot eyes and hair messed up. Immediately, the girl went and wrapped her arms around him.
But no sign of her mother.
Yet again, she wasn't here.
Though Maya never had a close relationship with her, she at least though the woman would be worried enough for her kids if not for her ex partner.
"Mark." She whispered, moulding into his embrace.
The room was quiet, the only sound was the monitor beeping every few seconds. Tubes lining up in her father's arms as he slept.
Such a sight brought even more tears into her eyes.
"How is he doing?" Maya whispered, stopping next to the bed- taking the man's palm into hers as Mark gently rubbed her shoulder in comfort."He's in a critical condition, doctors said they put him in a temporary coma." He said with a heavy heart, voice cracking at the end as he looked down to his sister.
A loud whimper left the girls' lips after hearing it, watching her dad's face tenderly but the tears blurred her vision over and over again.
Donghyuck waited patiently outside on the hallway, not wanting to go inside and rather leave her family to be on private.
Not knowing why he felt so irritated, he sat down in the waiting room- rethinking back to how badly she had accepted the news.
He felt such pity and sympathy for her and the fact that he couldn't do anything about it made him go mad.He didn't want to see her in that state, so broken and numb. It was hard.
The door opened, two siblings stepping out after being told the doctors needed to run some more tests.
Donghyuck's blank look softened as he looked at her, immediately pulling her close.
Crying, she buried her head into the boys' chest, moulding into him as the muffled cries left her lips. He rubbed her back, in attempts to calm her down as he eyed Mark who watched them intently.
