Starting on her homework, the girl yawned as her only goal was to finish her work, then cocoon herself into the comfy bed and get some extra sleep since these days have been quite stressful - considering Donghyuck with his flirty and tiring personality and on top of that, school was a literal hell.

In the middle of her filling up the tasks with answers, her phone binged- making her glance at the screen in curiosity.

Lele: I'm bored

Jeno: Sleep

Seulgi: Do it yourself or you'll fail the test

Sungie: She sent me the hw so she ain't dead yet

The door to her room flew open, making the girl flinch as she looked back at her roommate who walked inside, an unreadable expression on his face.

"What are you gonna do?" Maya asked, keeping a smile of amusement while standing up and backing away from him.

"Dare to say it to my face again?" He smirked in challenge, teasingly raising a brow  as he neared her figure slowly, making the girl gulp.

"You're dumb." She said immediately, holding back her laughter and his eyes sparkled in amusement, lips twitching to turn upwards as he let out a deep chuckle.

"Oh, now you're done for." Donghyuck grabbed her waist, throwing her onto the bed and a yelp flew out of her mouth.
"You like to infuriate me, huh?"
Starting to tickle her sides, a wicked smile grew on his lips.

"No! Stop-" She screamed, trying to get away, but Donghyuck wouldn't let her, only holding her down firmer as he poked her stomach.

"Donghyuck! I'm sorry!" Maya laughed, panting and the boy finally stopped while licking his lips.

"You better be." He commented, scoffing at her. "I thought you wouldn't be back until at least eight."

"I told you Mingyul had to leave and then Renjun drove me here." She said, getting back to her homework while leaving the boy sprawled on her bed.

"Renjun?"

"Yeah. He was just coming from Seulgi's place."

"Did I ask?"

"Oh shut up."

Hot water fell down on her skin in gallons, making her relax in the steam as her hair soaked up, washing away all the foam from the shampoo she used.

Standing under the tap for a few more minutes, Maya finally came to her senses and began drying her skin with a towel.

She used to hate showers as a kid ― the thought made her chuckle as she slipped into her clothes and let the towel run through her locks to get out excess water, too tired to blow dry it.

Laying in her bed, hidden in the various blankets, Maya was staring sleepily at the phone, a chat with Mingyul flashing into her eyes. He hasn't been replying since they separated at the park and the girl was beginning to get worried.

It wasn't like him to just leave out of nowhere, especially on the terms of them telling each other everything.

Well, almost everything.

Maybe he left to see someone else?

The thought was persistent, Mingyul wasn't a bad liar and she was well aware of that, but shrugged it off nevertheless- closing her eyes to drift off into a restless sleep.
