We are the future
Inheriting a world destroyed
Rain of bombs and bullets
Surrounded by more death than life
We are the future
Oceans of blood we sail
Told it was our fault
Though we tried to save her but failed
We are the future
Tears are what we drink
Hoping for a saviour
Brains spattered, can't think
We are the future
Smoke is what we breathe -from cigarettes and house fires-
To give ourselves relief: from reality seizing us
And the mental illnesses eating us
We are the future
Say good bye to your dreams

PoetryJust some poetry I came up with to empty my mind. There will be no fixe time for updates cause I can usually go a long time without writing anything and then spew out a lot of poems in a few minutes. Depends on the circumstances.
