Freedom , Fate , and Power

Ch10

After Venus and Quan Chi return to the Netherrealm,  Venus says sternly " I'm sorry father I shouldn't had left without your permission and to speak and not kill the enemy, I deserve punishment " Quan Chi looks at his daughter and said calmly " No , but I do have a mission for you , you along with Smoke will go to the Sky temple , and get the amulet , anyone who stops you both , kill them " " Yes father " then in a puff of gray smoke,  Smike appears and asked " I'm ready Quan Chi " " Good , now go with my daughter and complete your task . This will be the day Shinnok will rise " Venus then walks off as Smoke slowly follows her seconds after . Venus didn't say a thing to Smoke as she along with the revenant walk down the hall as Venus sticks out her right arms as it glowed a red light then a red portal appeared in front of them . Smoke rose a brow as he was used to see her having purple magic as her color but not red then to see parts of her hair was red . He just shrugs it off and walks into the portal then walk out to appear at the Sky Temple and a few monks guarding the place . Smoke looks as it was raining and thundering but he this wasn't going to be a problem,  but it'll mess up his hair . Venus didn't care about hiding as she just walked out in the open as the 5 guards turn their heads and glare at her . Smoke followed and said " should I handle them while you go inside " " No , best you go get it , I wish to test out my new abilities, fail and I'll kill you myself " Venus said mindlessly and harsh . Smoke glared as the monks attack then as Venus stepped forth then she held her left hand out as a red and black swords appeared out of red mist and into her hands . Her arms slowly turned black with red marking along with her eyes . Smoke watched as Venus started at the monks then she takes the sword and raises it into the air a large red energy ball appears from the red aura that was coming off the sword into the air then it grows bigger . The monks gulped as Venus said " You cant stop me ....and you're in our way therefore I'll kill you " then swings her sword down as the giant red ball zooms down from the sky and at the monks who screamed in fear and tried to run but the ball already struck at them , making a large red explosion. The red smoke clears as it leaves a giant hole in the ground with no remains of the 5 monks bodies . Smoke then runs in as more guards appeared as Venus swings her sword at them a red line appears from the swing then red beams blast out the red line and shoots and kill the other monks . Smokes runs around inside the temple as it was empty as so he thought as Raiden and Fujin appear from the jensei chamber. Smoke stops as Raiden and Fujin looks at him as Raiden spoke . " Smoke,  its unusual of you being here , probably here cause Quan Chi sent you here " Smoke didn't say anything but teleported in a puff of smoke behind them and runs off as Fujin said " You should go after him , I hear the monks fighting another outside " Raiden looks at him and nods as they go opposite ways . Fujin runs outside just as a large explosion was heard and slightly shook the place . Fun then slowly walks out as the sky glew red then saw a red beam blast from the sky and kill a monk.  Fujin then steps into the open and looks up to see Venus hovering above him with her sword as her her body was covered in red dark energy as Dujin asked himself " Who is she ? " Venus then looks at Fujin and said calmly but coldly " another waste " then points her sword at him as a ball appears at tge tip of her sword then beams down at Fujin who jumps back . Fujin then leaps to his side when another beam come down at him . He then looks at Venus who's red eyes stare at him then heard her spoke " you're Fujin right , the wind god ? " " Yes and who must you be , clearly someone evil " Fujin said glaring as Venus says " My name is Venus and the person who's going to wipe out this realm like I did Outworld " Fujin eyes widened as by what she said as he remembered when Lauren , Deakung,  and Kotal came to them by a portal .

Flashback : Fujin and Raiden both were outside tending to help and train some of the monks until a portal stops them from their work . Raiden waited for the supposed attacker to come out and fight them but only be greeted by Lauren , Deakung, and Kotal . Fujin rushed over by the injuries Kotal and Deakung had but Lauren had any . " What has happened? " Kotal winced then said " Fighting the revenant but recieved my limping from early before " " Outworld is a wasteland, Venus destroyed it when we last fought " Raiden and Fujin looked at her in shock as Raiden said in disbelief " that cannot be , only someone with suck power could ever do so ! " " She literally used a tornado to wipe out everything " Lauren said as Deakung looked down with sadness then said " I still cant believe she did this to us , mostly mean I thought she was my sister and- " Lauren then cuts him off and asked in pure shock " She's your sister ?! " " Well not by blood but I think of her as one , we basically grew up together when I sneak off into the Netherrealm when the clan is sleep " Lauren looks at Deakung then said " For how long ? " " 12 years but it doesn't matter that person I knew is gone " then walked off . Kotal looks at him and asked " as what can we do now , if she easily wiped out Outworld she can do the same to other realms " " We have to find her and take her out " Raiden said as Fujin played close attention then spoke " but how are we going to know her next move " " Clearly by Quan Chi, he's ordering her do attack where and who , like when the revenant came and attacked us " Kotal said as Lauren spoke next " Yeah and I awoke some light powers when I was fighting Bi han and....killed him " " I thought he died in that soulnado ? " Fujin asked as Kotal spoke " I guess not , but like it or not we share common ground if that woman ends up taking down all the realms " Kotal said as Raiden looks at him without a word but said seconds later " We will go back to Outworld maybe there's way to restore it ,  Lauren you and Deakung will go to the Shirai Ryu until further notice " Raiden said as both nod and rushes out . Kotal looks at Fujin as the wind god spoke " I'll sat here just in case they attack here while you two are gone " Raiden makes a portal to Outworld as Kotal limps in then Raiden looks at Fujin and said " then I'll leave you to it Fujin " then he walks in and the portal closes . Only leaving Fujin here alone at the sky temple . Fujin looks back at the monks that still stood there and said " Continue your training,  I must go inside and do something at most importance " the monks all bow as Fujin heads inside and get the time to think for himself around 30 minutes before Raiden walked out the portal but not Kotal . Fujin looks back and rose a brow and asked , walking over to Raiden " Where is Kotal ? " " He stayed back as we managed to find some survivors in including Erron Black , Reptile, and Ermac " Raiden said as Fujin sighed and said with relief " That's good to hear , was Outworld really a wasteland? " Raiden nodded as Fujin said sternly " then this Venus is a threat along with Quan Chi and his revenants , we cant let them both continue their raid " " And we won't , I'll contact Special Forces and inform them of this new threat " then they both head into the Gensei Chamber . End of flashback

Fujin sighed and said " I guess we found the girl we're looking for...sad cause you're pretty " Venus just looked at him then saw Smoke holding the amulet and Raiden behind him Smoke then stops along with Raiden as they looked up at Venus who said " Saying that isn't going to stop me from completing my mission . Smoke then looks at Raiden who looked at Venus who then rose her sword but this this time 3 large red portal form above her then she slow lowers her sword and three large red beams fly out the portals and hits the ground and made a large explosion as the shock waves blew away the trees and everything the strong waves of wind came in contact with . Fujin and Raiden look in shock as then a beam flies down at them as the both move away but the shock wave still blew them roughing into the walls of the Sky Temple , knocking them out cold . Venus sighed as she throws her sword as it fades in red flames and the portals evaporate into nothing , her skin on her hands go back to the orginal collar but faint markings of the red markings stayed . She slowly falls down to the ground and stood by Smoke and asked " Did you get it ? " Smoke nods and shows her the amulet . Venus smiled a little the said sternly " Let us take our leave " then she makes another portal then they walk in , returning back to the Netherrealm. Once the two walk out , the appear in the throne room where,  Kitana , Kung Lao , Liu Kang , Mileena oddly , and Quan Chi who say on the throne once more . Smoke and Venus walk over to Quan Chi , stops in front of him , and bows . Quan Chi smiles then asked deeply " Did you get it ? " " Yes " Venus said as she and smoke rose their heads as Smoke hands Quan Chi the amulet. Quan Chi took it and smiled and said " Good work , now our war on Earthrealm can begin  " Liu Kang looked at Venus and suddenly felt a change in her other than when he had to leave , this Venus showed no emotion but a evil and cold one , her eyes always showed a narrow glare the sense of evil . Her once purple and black hair was bow red and black , her bright amethyst eyes were bright red.  Liu knew Quan Chi did this to her , but he couldn't judge or have his say so , he was only a servant nothing more . Kitana was looking at Mileena who was glaring at her . Apparently,  Mileena was killed by Erron when she fell high out the palace window just to brought back as a revenant like her dear sister . Everyone was quiet till Quan Chu bommed out " All of you get ready for the soon coming war we're going to have against Earthrealm,  we're going to summon Shinnok at the sky temple , Venus , Smoke,  and Liu Kang you three will find and kill Lauren , Deakung,  and Kotal " " As you wish " Venus said as Quan Chi waved his hand off as everyone left as Venus was going to leave but Quan Chi stops her . Venus turns back and asked " Do you need something Father " " Yes , I suddenly figured out your weaknesses  and I'll share one with you , Lauren has summoned God's Light abilities , a very power abilities a god put on her . I want you take the devil's knife and stab yourself and live for 30 second to get Devil's Darkness into your blood " Venus didn't even question but agreed to it . " Your other was quiet shocking....your sudden love for Bi han who was announced dead after fighting Lauren . If he was to be here and go against us , he'll easily take you out . I'm going to bring him back but dobt pay no mind to him! " Venus nodded and said " as you wish father " Quan Chi smiled then said sternly " you may leave and get ready " then Venus's walks out .
