"Upcoming musical sensation (Y/N) is here with us live! I'm Pearl, this is Marina, and we're Off the Hook delivering your hourly battle news along with a special edition interview with yours truly," Pearl introduced. She was much more enthusiastic than usual. "(Y/N) and I go way back; we used to play turf wars all the time! She's truly the best!"

"And in case you don't know much about this rising star, her name is (Y/N) and she is part of rock sensation Star Fished! Not only that, but she's an X ranked player in all modes! Absolutely astounding, girl! It's a pleasure to meet you. As Pearl said before, I'm Marina." Marina couldn't help but fan girl. She was a true fan of (Y/N) and loved all things music.

"Aw, thanks you guys for that wonderful introduction. But before this interview, let's dive into the battle arenas, shall we?" (Y/N) said, blushing from all the attention. "Okay, so for our regular battles, it looks like we have..." Marina did her thang and the TV broadcasted a bird's eye view of each map. "Manta Maria and Piranha Pit!"

"Last time we were here, you spent the whole time taking pics with your phone." Marina quipped.

"But I still didn't get a selfie with you in front of the excavator! Pleeeeease!" Marina fought back.

"Aw, Marina I find it adorable you have such an affinity for machine equipment still!" (Y/N) chimed in. "Okie dokie, now for the ranked battles stages... Walleye Warehouse and Shellendorf Institute! And it looks like we're currently under a really fun one; Tower Control!!!"

Pearl suddenly looked shocked and kind of scared. "I heard they have human bones here!"

"I wish humans were real." Marina looked rather sad.

"Listen up Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th"

"What was that Pearl? You cut off! DON'T EAT WHAT?!"

"Aw man, hey you two! We still have one more announcement!"

"Oh yeah! And a word from our sponsors: Grizzco is currently hiring! So don't forget to pick up a shift before the day ends!" Marina reminded all of the cephalopods, eager to get the day started.

"And now, a commercial break to give all you squiddos and octobabies alike time to record our big fat interview with (Y/N)! DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS STELLAR OPPORTUNITY! Tune back in at 7:30 am SHARP to get all the deets about such a prodigy!" Pearl signed off, and the broadcast switched to a variety of commercials.

It just turned 7:00 am, and in 30 minutes the interview was to start. (Y/N), being a very hungry hippo, decided to walk to the café across the street to get some breakfast for the three of them as they initiated a long interview. Her day was filled with all sorts of publicity events, like this interview, meet and greets, and finally being the surprise Aloha's been hinting at for his party tonight.
