Love is not a feeling (part dos motivation)

So recap loving yourself is hard but necessary to lead a happy and healthy life so unless you just want a fucked up life taking steps in order to love yourself is important. So in this chapter i'm going to be talking a bit about motivation because in order to start doing anything you need motivation. For so long I was so unmotivated to do anything even though part of knew I was bad off I didn't want to get better. Which is hard to admit cause it should feel normal to want to do better but thats just not true some people are too scared of change and are so used to being bad off and there scared of getting better. Which makes sense because when your in a bad place you just don't care as much but getting better means caring a lot. How do I get motivated? Well the answer may look different for everyone cause no ones the same and it definitely is different for everything like motivation to study and motivation to improve your eating habits completely different.  Realizing you need help or you need improvement is the first step to getting motivated to doing something about it. You should then start thinking realistically, say you want to lose weight and as of right now your doing nothing to help out with that you shouldn't say you'll start eating 100% better the first day and working out everyday. You need to pace yourself and ease yourself into eating better and working out and find a workout routine for beginners that work for you. I also suggest figuring out one thing at a time don't try to bite off more than you can chew or in other words don't burn or stress yourself out too much. Start with one goal that'll help you out the most in your life. Then slowly start planning out how it'll work in your life and in your schedule. If you don't have a planned out routine i'd try to figure one out cause that can help with motivation. I know personally seeing everything written out and having alarms on my phone really help me but I also know it can be overwhelming for some. So I would just watch a bunch of morning and night routine type videos on youtube to help you plan out yours. Please remember your not perfect no one is so if you make a mistake or you cant keep up with a certain routine its totally okay! You didn't fail and the worlds not ending you can just try again with a different routine. Another way that can help you get motivated is finding a support system find someone you trust to help you get motivated and help improve yourself and maybe they can improve themselves as well! Motivation is never a constant thing for anyone never has been never will be. Motivation always comes back though remember that.

Loving yourself comes in a lot of steps it's important to start small and celebrate the small wins. You've got this and you''ll get through this exhausting time even when it feels like you never will.
