"So...about Hayley." Henry starts as he pulls into a parking lot. I look up at the little cafe to see a small brick cafe that has a cute sign decorated with swirls and flowers and very colorful. I smile as I look at Henry who smiles sheepishly.
"Go on." I say as I look at the perfect curling letters that say "the awesome cafe".
"Does she like me?" I roll my eyes as I shake my head.
"No henry she doesn't like you. It's so not obvious that she likes you and doesn't want to date you." I roll my eyes as Henry's face falls.
"Really?" I hit Henry aside his head.
"No! She likes you ya dummy! She's crazy about you and it's clear that you're crazy about her so ask her out!" I hit his arm as I unbuckle and get out of his car.
"Wait, are you serious?" Henry asks as I glare at him.
"Get a life Henry." I walk in to see the cutest little shop with cute tables for two that look like they should be in Paris and several booths along the walls and a big window. I see the counter with pastries around it and cupcakes and anything possible in glass and a huge menu hung on the wall.
I smile as I see several people working behind the counter and look down at the perfectly tiled floor and look around.
"Hey Henry." A dude says and waves to him. He looked like the typical nerd, brown curly hair with black thick rimmed glasses and beautiful green eyes but with a sharp jawline and straight white teeth.
"Hey man, you know what I like. Oh Sam this is Paisley, she's new here so I thought I'd bring her here." Henry says as he pulls out his wallet.
"Hey, I'm Sam. What would you like?" I smile as I look up at the menu and spot a triple chocolate cookie.
"I think I would like the triple chocolate cookie, please." I smile as I look back at him to see him nod and smile.
"Comin right up." I nod as Henry pays for our food before Sam puts a huge cinnamon roll on a plate and my cookie wrapped up in a cute teal napkin with silver lettering.
"Thank you so much." I say as I take a bite of my cookie.
"My pleasure." Henry nods to him as we walk out and get into his car before driving off.
"How come you're not trying out for the cheerleading team?" I scoff before rolling my eyes.
"Because-wait is Kimberly on the team?" I ask as Henry shakes his head.
"No she quit after Brayden left her." I giggle before shrugging.
"I don't know actually." I say before eating my cookie again.
"You should try out." Henry says before stuffing his face.
"They already had try outs." I point out as Henry chews his cinnamon roll.
"Yeah but people try out throughout the year anyways. When we get there you should cheer on Hayley or Brayden and do something and they'll definitely want you on the team." Henry pulls into the schools parking lot and parking close to the football field.
"Let's go." I say as we hip out of his car and walk towards the football field, sitting on the bleachers where the cheerleaders were.
"Yeah let's go Hayley!" Henry whoops as Hayley looks at us and rolls her eyes, smiling at us.
"Yeah! Let's go Yogi!" I yell on the top of my lungs to see number fifteen turning around to look at us. I see him smile before shaking his head and turning back around with his hands in his hips.
