Cali Red POV

I was waiting for this bell to ring cause I want to hurry up and get to the cafeteria so I can get away from Jay cause I'm not about to help him with anything.

3mins later the bell rung I hurried and got up and started to walk to the cafeteria but somebody grabbed my arm.

I sighed cause I know it's Jay, I turned around and looked at him

" Come on " he said pulling me with him

" I can walk you don't have to pull me " I said pulling my arm back

" You know you act like a bitch " he said

I scoffed and looked at him

" Okay what do you want from me " I asked while we was walking

" I'm not saying anything until we are out of sight so you can stop talking " He said

I just rolled my eyes and we kept walking until we got to the abandon room. He closed the door

I looked at him

" Okay umm how do I put this " he said but whispering the last part

" Come on " I said

" So.... there's this girl and... I like her a lot and I think she is really pretty and smart.... but the thing is I'm scared if I ask her on a date she will say....no" he said while he was scratching the back of his neck and looking at me

" You brought me up here so you can tell me this " I said in disbelief

" Yea Ion want nobody seeing me with you " he said I rolled my eyes

" Whatevea why can't you ask her why are you so scared " I asked looking at him

He didn't say anything he was just staring at me

Umm okay

"Jay.... jay " I said 2 times

" Huh... o yea um what did you say " he said

" .... I said why are you afraid to ask this girl " I said

" ......Because uh I'm not the nicest person to her and she probably would think I'm crazy if I ask her " he said looking down

I felt kinda bad for him cause he looked like he really liked this girl

" If you don't mind me asking what's her name does she go here " I asked curious

" Uhh ....yea she goes here " he said avoiding my other question

" What's her name" I asked again

" .... sandra " he said unsure

" Yea uh sandra" he said nodding his head

" Uhh okay so um you want me to ask her for you " I said

" ...Yea" he said sighing

" Jay this is so elementary you are in the 12th grade get your shit together and man up " I said

" Please Cali just this one thing "he said

" What do I get in return " I said

" What, English Jay " I said

" Umm whatever you want " he said staring at me then I seen his eyes travel down.

" Jay " I said

"Huh yea " he said looking up

" Umm nothing but why did you choose me out of all girls in this school " I said to him"

" Cause I don't know you was just the first thing that poped in my head " he said

I was kinda shocked because he was thinking about me

" Why you look shocked " he said looking at me

" Oh cause I would've never thought you would be thinking about me honestly" I said

" Well don't be cause your not special " he said

That hurt when he said that because I took it very personal and when he said that I thought about my mom saying those exact words.

I guess he seen that

"Oh no Cali um I didn't mean it like that sorry... why you crying " he said coming up to me and touching my shoulders.I didn't even know I was crying so I tried to hurry and wipe my eyes

" Uh nothing " I said I was about to walk out the door but he grabbed my shoulder and turned me around

" You sure " he said looking me in the eyes I don't know why but when he looked me in my eyes I got this feeling in my stomach like it fluttered, I was nervous I thought I mean Jay is far from ugly he's fine but I just don't ever see us like that ever, but I don't know why he's making me nervous this never happened before so why now.

" Umm yea I'm sure" I said

" Okay and thank you so much " he said

"No problem " I said and we was just staring at each other

he gave me a hug I was surprised and I didn't hug back at first but then I put my arms around him and hugged back. He was hugging me for a long time, but I liked it, he gave me a warm feeling. He leaned back and his lips brushed against me cheek to the corner of my mouth and his head was close to mines if I leaned forward we will be kissing. His mouth was parted a little and he opened his eyes and looked at me and he looked at me with lust. I pulled away and my cheeks was heating up, I knew I was blushing so I put my head down

" Um I'm going to go " I said

He just nodded

So I hurried and walked out

What the hell just happened
