(AN: this is a super cliché chapter, I know, but why not.)

Annabeth Chase, the most beautiful girl in the whole school, just rejected me for the second time this week. I mean can you believe it! I'm the most popular dude in school. I'm on the football team, I have heaps of money and a fancy car! Anyway, apparently she only rejected me because she has a boyfriend, and like that's going to stop me.

"Bro, are you telling me that you asked her out again?" My friend interrupts me.

"Um, yeah I did, why not? She's going to fall for me eventually. " I retort.

"Apparently she has a super hot boyfriend, I wouldn't want to risk it."

"I know, but no girl is immune to my charm, and Annie and I are meant to be."

"Okay dude, do what you want, but don't blame me if anything happens."

No matter what my so-called bro says, I can and will get that dumb blonde. So I begin to plot my third attempt of the week.

After school, I start to put my plan into action. First I run to my locker, because in order for this to work, I have to get to the car park before Annabeth. I then go to my bright blue sports car and lean against it. Out of the corner of my eye, I see someone else leaning against a car, so I turn around and take a closer look.

He has sea-green eyes and messy black hair, and he looks like he just got out of bed. He's leaning against a bashed-up blue Prius with what look like hoof prints in the roof. I snicker quietly, his car is half as expensive as mine, and his looks are nothing compared to my blue eyes and blonde hair. And I bet he doesn't have a beautiful girlfriend like I do, or almost do.

And that's when she exits the building, looking like a goddess with her blond princess curls bouncing around in her ponytail and her grey eyes calculating every movement. I begin to saunter up to her, ready to ask her to go on a date, when her eyes light up and she begins running. She flings her arms out, and I open mine, thinking she'll jump into my embrace, but she runs right past me and straight into the arms of Him. The boy that was standing behind me, leaning against the blue Prius.

"SEAWEED BRAIN!" she laughs "I missed you"

"I missed you too wise girl," he says, grinning lopsidedly.

And. Then. They. Kissed.

I screamed in rage and walked up to them, pulling Annabeth away. And then I finally kissed her, full on the lips, it was the best feeling in the world. That was until she kneed me in the balls, and the last thing I heard before I limped back to my car was 'seaweed brain' laughing, and then silence, a silence that could be brought only by a kiss.

(AN: was this too long? too short? let me know, also if you have any ideas comment them, and I'll credit you if I write them)
