Chapter 39

Tripp Marco Palma (POV)

"Hello? Alex? Pwede mo ba akong tulungan?"

"Yeah sure. Ano yun?"

"Nandito na ako sa Manila. Kakaland lang ng eroplano. Kita tayo sa Starbucks sa Trinoma. Papuntahin mo din si Dans."

"Okay."

Binaba na namin yung tawag at agad akong sumakay sa sasakyan ko. Pero may driver ako kasi may jetlag pa ako. I want my surprise for Alyah to be special. I want her to be so happy! And I will make the best surprise ever that she will never forget!

Nung makarating ako sa Statbucks, nandoon na silang dalawa. Syempre as respect dahil ako ang nagimbita sa kanila dito, inorderan ko sila ng chocolate moose cake at coffee. Habang kumakain pinag-usapan na namin yung plano.

"Alex, I need your help and kahit limang classmates mo lang."

"Why?" He asked

"I want you to ask Alyah that you need her help. Dans, ikaw naman ang pinakakailangan ko talaga dito."

"What for?" Dans said

"Yeah. What is the real plan Tripp?" Said Alex

"So here's the real plan..."

I started elaborating the plans I have in my mind. I hope they can help me do the surprise successfully. I really hope that everything will turn out great tomorrow as planned.

Alyah Zynneth Cortez (POV)

I was busy watching MAMA 2014 when Alex entered the house. Dito ako ngayon matutulog sa bahay kasi wala rin naman si Tripp eh, nasa South Korea pa siya. Haaay. I already miss him so much!

"Hey little bro. Where have you been?" I asked him with a sweet smile on my face

"Just school work."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah. Ay! Nga pala Ate, can you please help me in my school project?" He suddenly asked

"What kind of project is that?"

"Hmm. It's short film. A full wedding ceremony, we will be filming it at Manila Cathedral."

"Oh? Kailan naman yan?"

"Tomorrow at 4pm. I already asked a priest to help us too."

"Ano naman ang maitutulong ko?"

"You're starring as the bride. It's just a project. Please! Please!"

Oh god. Alex used his puppy face again! Argh! When was the last time he used that? Oh! When he was 10 years old! Grabe once in a blue moon lang ito mangyari! Pagbibigyan ko na ba? Project lang naman diba? Nothing's wrong. Besides, I'm good at acting!

"Okay fine. Sinong mag-aayos? Ano susuotin ko?"

"Ate pwede ba yung wedding gown mo na lang para sa kasal niyo ni Tripp? Para walang gastos. Ako na bahala sa mag-aayos sayo."

"What? No way. Hindi ko susuotin yun para lang dun. Bibili na lang ako ng bago." I said.

"No. Hindi sige Ate, ako na lang bibili para sayo."

Hindi pa nga tapos tahiin yung gown ko eh pinapasuot na niya sakin? How could he? Hindi ba niya alam na malas yun? Ayoko nga na maudlot yung kasala namin ni Hubby!

"Okay. So tomorrow 4pm? What time should I be there?"

"Mga 2pm siguro para maayusan ka."

I nodded. Hay Kailangan kong tapusin yung meeting ko bukas. Para makapunta ako dun sa simbahan ng maaga. Ipapareschedule ko na lang yung meeting ko ng hapon para hindi hassle.

*riiiiiiing*

Sinagot ko agad yung tawag ni Hubby ko! Oh how I missed his voice!

"Hubby!"

"Wifey! Kamusta?"

"Okay lang ako. I miss you na! Please come home na."

"I can't. Hindi pa tapos yung convention. Two days na lang naman eh."

"Don't you miss me?" I asked. Hihihi! Lalambingin ko nga ito

"I miss you so much wifey."

"How sweet! I love you! Sige na matulog ka na. It's already 8pm here. Take care!"

"I love you too wifey. Good night!"

Binilisan ko lang tapusin yung call. Una, kasi mahal din yung international calls. Pangalawa, gabi na kasi doon. He needs time to rest. Alam ko kasi yung mga ganyang week long conventions nakakapagod talaga kahit nakaupo ka lang. Haaay! Nakakastress kaya yung ganun!

After eating dinner with Mom and Alex, nagbabad ako sa bath tub ko. I tried to to relax a bit while listening to All of Me by John Legend. This song reminds me of Tripp's proposal! Hanggang ngayon para pa rin akong high school na kinikilig!

After finishing the song, nagbanlaw na ako then changed into my pajamas. Then nagtoothbrush ako tapos humiga na ako. A long day is ahead of me tomorrow. I need enough sleep. And I hope tomorrow will be a good one.
