Todoroki got closer to the sound of crying at the kitchen, he was wondering who was crying at midnight.
He went into the kitchen and was surprised to see Midoriya sitting there near the kitchen counter with a bowl of ice cream and his phone that had a picture, he went towards him but Midoriya still hadn't noticed hime yet.
He looked at the photo on his phone, it was a picture of pretty girl with another boy underneath cherry blossom trees. They both smiled.
That must be the girl that Midoriya has hanahaki for
Todoroki thought to himself. He was nervous, he didn't know how to comfort others that well, how should he react?
"Midoriya,"
Midoriya shot his eyes back at Todoroki who was standing behind him,
Midoriya's eyes were red and wet, he was embarrassed, he was seen crying, he wanted to look strong, he wanted to be someone people could depend on.
"TODOROKI! AHH!"
Midoriya jumped of his seat and fell hard on the floor,
Todoroki and Midoriya stared at each other, surprised of what just happened.

Todoroki chuckled at what just happened, making Midoriya's face flush red in embarrassment.
"Hahahaha, are you ok?"
Todoroki said as he lend his hand to help Midoriya up, Midoriya took Todoroki's hand as he glared at Todoroki with his beet red face, Todoroki kept on giving off a small laugh as he helped Midoriya up.
"Todoroki, stop it, its not funny,"
Midoriya said with a fake pout, he crossed his arms and looked away Todoroki playfully.
"Haha, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you,"
Midoriya started to feel a burning sensation in his throat, he immediately ran for the toilets and started to choke on petals,
Todoroki followed as he saw Midoriya coughing out a lot of petals and blood,
Todoroki then remembered about what he was thinking about earlier on, about his friend. He also started to feel a burning sensation in his throat, he then rushed to the sink and coughed up his petals, he felt like he was about to choke, he couldn't breathe properly, he continuously kept on coughing that he couldn't gasp for air anymore.
As soon as the coughing stopped, Midoriya and Todoroki both were panting and gasping for air. They cleaned their petals and blood and went out of the bathroom,
Midoriya started going back to tears, it was painful for him to see Sayuri, he hiccuped while his face was covered in tears, his eyes were red and puffy,
Todoroki grabbed Izuku into a warm embrace, he buried his face onto Midoriya's fluffy green hair, as Midoriya was crying into Todoroki's chest.
Todoroki's embrace was comforting and cozy, his warmth spread throughout both of their bodies as Midoriya slowly wrapped his arms around Todoroki's body.
Todoroki soon started tearing up with Midoriya, they could hear each others painful cries, the feeling of emptiness was being shared through their intimacy with each other,
No one else understands what their feeling other than themselves, the thought of knowing that someone else knows how you feel made them comfortable with each other's arms.
The warmth of their bodies pressed against each other bodies with their arms wrapped around each other,
The softness of each other's tight hug.
They stayed like that until they both calmed down, they both untangled their arms from each other and moved away from each other's warm bodies,
Midoriya gave a small weak smile,
Todoroki returned the favour with a soft expression and said,
"Um, I was going to get some food, do you want some?"
"Well, I think I'm going to cook some food for tomorrow's lunch, wanna join me?"
"Yeah sure,"
They headed to the kitchen and started to make some food, Midoriya decided on making bento as Todoroki made soba.
After cooking they put their lunches into their containers, they also left some food for them to eat.
Todoroki and Midoriya ate their food while having a small chat,
It's nice to finally talk to someone openly again,
They both thought to themselves,
After eating they headed to their rooms ready to sleep,
"Good night Todoroki,"
"I think you mean good morning ,haha, good 'night' anyways Midoriya,"
"haha, right, good morning,"
