Nothing can bring her back
She was taken to the flames rather Dragged
I could see the tears in the ashes, her ashes as I handed her over to river
With a heavy heart, heart heavy with the emptiness she left behind
Why was she taken? Why is anyone taken? What was her fault?
I used to wish for another chance, I thought I could make it right with a redo
But what kills me is that I couldn't
I feel the anger, the rage towards the beasts who sacrificed her to their false gods
But the anger doesn't matter because
Nothing can bring you back
